And Gabi, who has been quietly biding her time and aligning herself with Philip Kiriakis at the Titan end of the Salem business map, is going to walk into that reading with a claim nobody saw coming.

Friday’s spoilers say Gabi DiMera makes a bold claim during the will reading. She is no shrinking violet. Gabi does not do anything quietly when money and revenge are in the same room.

She walks into the will reading. Theo is in charge. EJ is there. The DiMera attorneys are there. Johnny DiMera, who has been running the company that bears his grandfather’s name, is there. And Gabi calmly produces paperwork arguing that her divorce from Stefan was based on forged documents.

She is not his ex-wife. She alleges the divorce documents were forged. Which means she is his wife and she stands to inherit whatever Stefan would have received from Stefano. She wants every cent of Stefan’s slice.

Why This Could Actually Work

Here is the thing about the forgery. It hasn’t been proven yet. In fact, we think Stefan may walk into the will reading himself. But the DiMera family has been operating on the assumption that her claim to anything DiMera shaped expired the moment those papers got signed.

But papers that may or may not be real do not actually end a marriage. In a courtroom with a sympathetic judge and a competent attorney, Gabi DiMera could absolutely argue she remains Stefan’s legal spouse and therefore his legal heir.

The DiMera empire has been protected by paperwork forever. Stefano himself rose and fell on the strength of forged signatures and misplaced contracts. The notion that one of those documents could now flip the entire estate in favor of the woman currently sleeping with a Titan executive is the kind of cosmic justice this family has been earning for forty years.
