TL;DR: Sheila Carter put on a nurse costume and infiltrated Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful, Nick Newman bought drugs and snored into the phone on The Young and the Restless, Owen called Stephanie Johnson “my love” while she beat him senseless on Days of Our Lives, Anita Dupree told Anastasia to say it to her face at Easter brunch on Beyond the Gates, and the man everyone thought was Nathan West turned out to be his evil twin on General Hospital this week. I watched all of it so you did not have to. You are welcome.
The Audacity Award: Sheila Carter
Sheila Carter got banned from Forrester Creations. So she changed into a nurse costume, waltzed past security, introduced herself as “Nurse Carter,” and asked Taylor Hayes if she was ready to take her medicine. She then screamed in Taylor’s face demanding to know if she was sleeping with her husband. The costume. The alias. The full commitment to the bit. I am giving her a standing ovation for sheer commitment alone.

Okay But WHY Though: Nick Newman’s Vegas Spiral
Nick Newman is in Las Vegas on a mission to help Adam Newman track down Matt Clark. That is the assignment. So naturally he spent his downtime buying drugs from a dealer named Justin, ordering enough for “six or seven people,” and falling asleep mid-phone call with Sharon Newman and Chelsea Lawson. He snored into the phone. They heard it. Nicholas.
Snooze Button: Port Charles Plays Nice
Curtis Ashford and Portia Robinson had their ultrasound appointment and it was lovely. They were civil. They were mature. They talked about moving forward like two adults who have finally figured out how to be in the same room without incident. Then Curtis reconciled his friendship with Nina Reeves and that was also lovely. Everyone in Port Charles was being so reasonable this week that I nearly fell asleep standing up.
The Ick Factor: Owen’s Love Declaration
Stephanie Johnson walked into the interrogation room to face Owen and the first words out of his mouth were “My love! You came to me!” She screamed. She hit him. She said “I hate you” so many times we lost count. And as they dragged him away he looked back and whispered “You will never be able to forget me.” We need a shower and a priest.
Unexpectedly Obsessed: Anita Dupree
Anastasia walked into Easter brunch at the country club and announced that Samantha Richardson was not a “real” Dupree. Anita Dupree, who is battling her own health crisis and showed up in her finest, looked this woman dead in the face and said “Why don’t you say that again… to my face?” Vernon Dupree backed her up. Anastasia was dismissed. The Dupree matriarch does not take holidays from being formidable.
The Dragging: Deacon Sharpe
Deacon Sharpe is in love with Taylor Hayes and we believe him. What we do not believe is that a grown man left his shoes still covered in sand in the living room, delivered a pizza from his own restaurant to his secret girlfriend’s office, and showed up in a delivery guy disguise that was missing only the mustache. Sheila Carter figured it out because of a pizza box. A PIZZA BOX. I love this man but she cannot defend him anymore. He is going to get them both killed with breadcrumbs.
This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things: Nathan West
They brought Nathan West back from the dead. Ryan Paevey returned. James told Felicia Scorpio he wants to be a hero just like his dad. Lulu Spencer started falling for him. And this week we found out he is not Nathan. He is Cassius Faison, Nathan’s twin and Jenz Sidwell‘s partner, who took over his brother’s life after Sidwell poisoned Maxie Jones to buy him time. They gave us Nathan back and then they ripped him away while he was still standing right there. I am not okay.
