The Bold and the Beautiful
B&B Spoilers: Brooke Logan Rewrites Her Own Rules to Benefit R.J. Forrester
Brooke Logan demanded healing time when her relationships were at stake. Now she’s pushing R.J. Forrester to chase Electra. Fans are calling out the double standard.

TL;DR: Brooke Logan has spent years demanding “healing time” from rivals on Bold and the Beautiful, but now she is actively encouraging R.J. Forrester to pursue Electra Forrester while Electra is still with Will Spencer. The double standard is deafening, and fans are noticing.—
The Rules Only Apply When Brooke Needs Them
If there is one thing Brooke Logan has perfected over the years on Bold and the Beautiful, it is the art of moving the goalposts. For decades, Brooke positioned herself as the voice of reason when it came to matters of the heart. She demanded that Taylor Hayes give her time and space with Ridge Forrester. She insisted that Steffy Forrester step aside and let Hope Logan and Liam Spencer work through their problems without interference. Patience. Healing. Time. Those were the sacred words that came out of Brooke‘s mouth every time someone threatened what mattered to her.
So what happened to all of that wisdom? Because right now, Brooke Logan is throwing her own rulebook straight into the fireplace.—
R.J. Gets a Green Light That Nobody Else Ever Did
Her son, R.J. Forrester, is aggressively pursuing Electra Forrester. That alone would not be a problem if Electra were single. But she is not. She is still in a relationship with Will Spencer. Yes, that relationship is under serious strain because Will made the unilateral decision to move Melissa Dylan into his beach house against Electra‘s wishes. But strained is not over. And Brooke knows the difference better than anyone, because she spent years lecturing other women about respecting that distinction.
Instead of telling R.J. to slow down, Brooke told him that Electra is the woman he “deserves.” She and Ridge even caught R.J. and Electra in a passionate make-out session in the Forrester Creations design office. Did Brooke pump the brakes? Did she remind her son that Electra is still technically with someone? Not a chance. She co-signed the whole thing with a smile.—

The Deeper Problem Nobody Is Talking About
Here is where the hypocrisy gets even uglier. Will is the son of Katie Logan. Katie is Brooke Logan‘s sister. And right now, Brooke is at war with Katie over the launch of the rival Logan fashion house that features designs by Eric Forrester himself. So Brooke is not just encouraging her son to pursue another man’s girlfriend. She is encouraging him to pursue her own nephew’s girlfriend while she is feuding with his mother. If that is not situational morality, nothing is.
And then there is Ivy Forrester, who is quietly pulling strings behind the scenes to sabotage Electra and Will‘s relationship and push Electra toward R.J. Brooke may not even realize she is dancing to the same tune as the woman manipulating everyone from the shadows. Could this mean that Brooke‘s “maternal instinct” is actually just playing right into Ivy‘s scheme?
Who Finally Calls Her Out?
Steffy has been sounding the alarm about Brooke‘s selective morality for years. She watched Brooke demand patience from Taylor. She watched Brooke demand patience from her. And now she is watching Brooke toss all of that aside the moment it benefits a Logan. Don’t be surprised if Steffy is the one who finally makes this confrontation happen. But there is another wild card. Will is sharp enough to figure out that his aunt by marriage just gave her blessing for someone to steal his girlfriend. If that confrontation lands, it could fracture whatever is left of the Logan sisters’ relationship for good.
Something tells me this powder keg is not going to stay quiet for long. Brooke built her moral authority on the idea that love deserves time to breathe. The second she stopped believing that for everyone, she lost the right to preach it to anyone.—

@soapoperamag Well, Taylor, it was nice knowing you, I guess… Where should the show host her funeral? The Forrester mansion? The beach house? A lovely little church? I can't see Taylor making it out of that room alive. The She-Devil doesn't take betrayal lightly! #BB #BoldandtheBeautiful ♬ original sound – Soap Opera Magazine
