LISA YAMADA SAYS LUNA IS DEAD BUT LEFT THE DOOR WIDE OPEN

TL;DR: Lisa Yamada says she believes Luna Nozawa is dead on The Bold and the Beautiful, but followed it up with “stranger things have happened on this show” and confirmed that her phone is always open for Brad Bell. She was also spotted at the B&B 39th anniversary celebration alongside Christian Weissmann, and she is not sorry for stirring up the gossip.

“I Like to Tease the Fans a Little”

Lisa Yamada knows exactly what she is doing.

The Emmy winner, who played Luna Nozawa on The Bold and the Beautiful until the character was run down by a car on November 20 of last year, showed up at B&B’s 39th anniversary celebration and BBTV launch party on March 23. She was photographed with the cast and with her best friend Christian Weissmann, who plays Remy Pryce, another character who has recently been off the show.

And yes, the internet noticed.

In an exclusive interview with Michael Fairman TV, Yamada admitted she enjoys the chaos her appearance stirred up. “You know, I like to tease the fans a little,” she said, with the kind of smile that tells you she is fully aware of what a photo of her on the B&B set does to the fan community.

“Stranger Things Have Happened on This Show”

When asked point blank if she thinks Luna is truly dead, Lisa Yamada gave the kind of answer that is going to keep B&B fans up at night.

“I believe that she’s dead, but that’s to say that stranger things have happened on this show.”

She followed it up with a line that is either a gracious acknowledgment of a closed chapter or an open invitation depending on how you read it: “The phone is always open for Brad Bell. If he ever wants to call me back, I’m here.”

Lisa Yamada is not shutting the door. She is leaving it cracked open with the light on and a welcome mat outside.

What’s Next for Lisa Yamada

For now, Yamada is staying very busy. Her big summer series Elle premieres July 1 on Prime Video, where she plays a wealthy Bel Air socialite. “I actually play this rich snotty little Bel Air girl,” Lisa Yamada said. “So, that’s been really fun because it’s so opposite from Luna.”

Opposite from Luna is one way to put it. Luna poisoned people, kidnapped Bill Spencer, and terrorized half of Los Angeles before being taken out by a car. A snotty rich girl in Bel Air is practically a vacation.

But the question that is going to follow Yamada around until Brad Bell either confirms or denies it is the one every B&B fan is already asking: if stranger things have happened on this show, and the phone is always open, does that mean the door is open too?

On a soap opera, nobody stays dead unless the writers want them to. And Lisa Yamada just made it very clear she is ready if they call.

Is Luna Nozawa really dead or is this the beginning of a comeback story nobody saw coming? Sound off below because this comment section is about to get loud!
