He totally proposed marriage to Claire without consulting or caring about Harrison or his current non-biological baby momma. Harrison is supposedly on his way back from Milan to start school again in Genoa City, but what happens after the news of Kyle’s latest shenanigans travels across the pond? Summer just may put her non-biological foot down on Young & the Restless.
Harrison MIA From Kyle Abbott’s Priorities, Opportunity Knocks
It wasn’t long ago that The Young and the Restless revolved around Harrison (Redding Munsell). Now, Harrison is conveniently visiting Summer in Milan while she’s working night and day to replace Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) at Marchetti. It has also been mentioned that Summer is dating a new hotshot subordinate of hers overseas.
How she has time for Harrison is a wonder for many Y&R fans. Regardless of how much time Summer is spending with Harrison, she will for sure find time to double down on an updated custody arrangement after she learns about Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) latest shenanigans on both sides of the pond.
Summer Newman Hates Ladies Who Touch Kyle
Summer’s jealousy of any woman who touches Kyle is not a secret to any The Young and the Restless fan or anyone who lives in Genoa City, except Kyle. Apparently, Kyle forgot about when he cheated on Summer with Audra (Zuleyka Silver). Summer went berserk, not wanting Audra within an inch of “her son.”
Now, Kyle has essentially cheated on Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), who Summer isn’t fond of in the first place and only tolerates because Harrison loves her, with Audra Charles. Then, to top it off, Kyle has proposed marriage to Claire on a total whim without consideration for anyone but himself.
Harrison, nor Claire, are #1 to Kyle Abbott… Kyle Abbott is #1 to Kyle Abbott.
The Abbotts & the Newmans Agree to Trade Kyle for Harrison
Kyle is a damn adult, and he should be able to take care of himself on Y&R. Harrison is a kid and was on his way to having a third non-biological mother figure after Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinlie) when she was married to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi, Robert Newman) who was led to believe by Harrison’s biological mother, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) to be his biological father and helped to raise him for the first three years of his life.
The Abbotts and most of the Newmans remain supportive of Claire and Kyle and have no time for Audra, despite recent developments. However, Kyle did make a deal with The Devil/Mustache, which Claire is about to learn about.
Kyle Abbott is about to kick out five million to The Almighty Victor Newman and leave Genoa City. Kyle made his bed, and he can sleep in it somewhere else. Harrison has had enough confusion and chaos in his young life. Either Harrison stays with Summer in Milan, or he’s raised by an Abbott or a Newman in Genoa City.
