Victor Newman Ambushes Jack Abbott At The Abbott Communications Launch
So Billy Abbott and Sally Spectra have pulled off what should have been the BIGGEST night of their professional lives with the launch of Abbott Communications. Sally is dressed to the nines in a gorgeous fifties-style dress, the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge looks incredible, and everyone who’s anyone in Genoa City is there to celebrate! But The Great Victor Newman isn’t about to let Jack Abbott enjoy a SINGLE moment of happiness without ripping it away from him.
Over at Newman Ranch, Victor Newman tells Michael Baldwin that he doesn’t give a damn about Jabot anymore. He’s going to take Jack down for GOOD! Michael tries to pump the brakes, warning Victor that once this hits social media it’ll spread like wildfire. But does The Mustache listen? Absolutely not. He slams his hand on the table and basically tells Michael his squeamishness is why they parted ways before!
Adam Newman makes the call, and just as Sally is mid-speech about making dreams a reality at the launch party, everyone’s phones start BUZZING with notifications. Jack looks at his phone and curses under his breath. Victoria asks Chelsea if she knew this was coming, and Chelsea says she would NEVER have approved an attack like this! Victor Newman just dropped a hit piece suggesting Jabot is shutting down while Jack is standing there in front of everyone!

Phyllis Summers Shows Up And Gets An Eyeful
Meanwhile, Red shows up to the party with Daniel Romalotti and Tessa Porter in tow. Earlier at Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby shared a passionate kiss before Cane pulled back and told her they’re DONE. He called her his enemy after she played him, lied to him, and screwed him over! But does that stop Phyllis from crashing the party? Not a chance!
Daniel thinks his mom is just going to cause problems, but Phyllis insists she was ACTUALLY invited this time. Billy felt bad for her and wanted to rub her face in Abbott Communications’ success. Daniel reluctantly agrees to tag along as her babysitter, and they convince Tessa to join them as a wingperson. When Phyllis walks into the lounge and sees Cane and Lily laughing together at the bar, looking COZY as can be, you can practically see the steam coming out of her ears! She walks by them with a smirk, Lily says “Good evening,” and Phyllis fires back with “I didn’t notice.” OUCH!
The Launch Party Drama Keeps Escalating
As if Victor’s bomb wasn’t enough, there’s drama EVERYWHERE at this party! Billy confronts Cane about being there, considering Cane screwed up their last launch. Sally smooths things over, saying Abbott Communications came out victorious so Cane can stay and “marinate in envy” about their success!
Devon is worried about Lily wasting her time with Cane, while Abby reminds him that Cane and Lily will ALWAYS be linked by their children. Victoria admits she’s only there to support Billy as the father of HER children, and Nate says he and Victor came to an understanding over Thanksgiving. Back at the ranch, Victor raises a glass with Michael and Adam for a toast: “To Jack Abbott, the architect of his own downfall!” The Mustache is feeling VICTORIOUS, and Jack’s nightmare is just beginning on Young and the Restless!
Drop your thoughts in the comments! Is Victor going too far, or does Jack deserve this?
