Diane Stirs Harrison’s Pot to Get on Kyle Abbott’s Good Side
That Diane Jenkins is always thinking. Her poor little grandson Harrison had a tummy ache & she thought to call her only son Kyle Abbott who she only fights with to let him know. Kyle claimed to be appreciative, but is he? Or is Kyle just happy because he thinks he has scored two points over Summer Newman as part of their ridiculous game of divorced-parent wars?
Harrison’s Tummy Ache: An Opportunity for Diane
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is about to blast any of the Young & the Restless fans out of tolerating her. Since Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has been somehow acting like an even bigger entitled jerk, Diane Jenkins has become much more palatable… Until now…
Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) live-in grandmother seriously called Kyle who was on a plane to Paris to let him know Harrison was ill. She left out the part that Harrison’s illness was a tummy ache. Diane also left out the part where she & Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) were home at the Abbott house & Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) was tending to Harrison. She also likely left out that Mrs. Martinez was likely resting in her suite inside the Abbott House. The long story long that Diane didn’t tell… Harrison & his tummy ache had plenty of support.
Diane Helps Kyle Score Points Against His Ex-Wife
Diane Jenkins totally took advantage of Harrison’s tummy ache to score points with her son Kyle Abbott. Also, Kyle is totally stupid enough to take this effort seriously at what he thinks is sincere, or he’s excited to sort of Summer look like crap.
Kyle Abbott thinks his returning from New York while en route to Paris will make him look like a parenting all-star in front of a Genoa City judge in light of his plans to move up the custody hearing. Kyle has been wrong before & this is another occurrence to add to that column.
Without being Harrison’s biological mother Summer does have a high hill to claim in her attempt to be awarded full custody. However, her ex-husband’s arrogance & rash behavior all of the freaking time is on her side.
Diane’s Next Move
Whether Kyle’s appreciation of Diane bringing him into the loop with Harrison’s “illness” is genuine, his reaction was well received by Diane. Diane isn’t dumb. What will she cook up next to earn more points with her son Kyle & to help him wil sole custody of Harrison on Young & the Restless?
