Is it Jack Abbott’s first day being Billy Abbott’s brother? Jack will now find a place for Billy at Jabot since he & Diane’s ridiculous charade to save their son Kyle. Can we say “square-peg-wrong-hole?” Billy Boy needs purpose & not some boring office job with the same day-to-day cookie-cutter business snoozefest. Speaking of needing purpose, so does Billy’s recent business associate Phyllis Summers. Might Diane Jenkins be the most unlikely candidate on Young & the Restless for placing purpose with two of Genoa City’s most creative & driven unemployed residents who need most to stay out of trouble?
CEO Billy Boy & COO Phyllis Summers: Gone Too Soon
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) giving up on her son Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) & selling Abbott Chancellor to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is the biggest recent joke on Young & the Restless that was not at all funny.
Billy wasn’t doing anything wrong. He was doing everything in his power to tread water while keeping his head high before, during, & after Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) was doing everything in her power to oust Billy using The Mustache without Jill’s approval. Like everyone else in Genoa City, Billy Boy has both personal & professional skeletons in his closet, but this time he was on track & Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) had his back as those few days were long until Billy ousted per Jill’s request.
Jill Abbott Counts Her Dollars & Billy Boy Antes Up
Just after Jill Abbott cashed the obese check she received from Victor Newman for Abbott Chancellor & before Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was released from Memorial Hospital in Genoa City after coming out of a coma, Billy was in her room pitching to team up to bring down The Mustache. Abbott Chancellor is now back to being named Chancellor Industries & Victor’s darling wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has been named CEO despite her lack of experience, lack of education, & being literally full of a Newman.
Michelle Stafford was not even portraying Phyllis Summers the last time she & Billy Abbott teamed up. Gina Tognani was portraying Phyllis Summers & did a damn good job. Also, she & Billy were HOT. Phyllis by Michelle Stafford & Billy Boy have a connection but it’s professional & fierce. Their connection totally has the option to meander in a sexual direction, but business first right now. For now, Billy Boy’s sexual direction is pointed at Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Diane Keeps Billy Boy Out of Trouble With a Catch
Billy Abbott is upset as hell at his brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for turning him down for the Co-CEO job at Jabot, rehiring his nephew Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to be Co-CEO, & for the ridiculous charade he put on with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) leading everyone in Genoa City to believe that they were both on the outs personally & professionally.
Well, surprise!… Diane might have a solution for Billy & Billy Boy might have an answer for Diane which includes a non-negotiable criteria. That non-negotiable criteria would be Phyllis Summers who hates Diane Jenkins & Diane hates her right back. However, things can change.
As of late, Phyllis & her least favorite bug Christine Blair (Lauralee Blair) have gotten along in desperate times driven by mutual motivation to right things gone wrong. Could the same only different happen for Phyllis & Diane but in business?
