In the latest episode of Young and the Restless, Phyllis Summers throws a huge tantrum in front of all of Genoa City at the 50th Anniversary Gala. She’s disheveled and shrieking at Diane Jenkins and Jack Abbott. The dramatic event sets the stage for a series of explosive plot twists that will keep fans of the show on the edge of their seats.

As Phyllis continues to rage, Jeremy Stark slinks into the back of the room with a mask hiding his face. After screaming at everyone and telling them that Diane is dangerous, Phyllis suddenly collapses. Nate Hastings and Elena Dawson come running and call for the EMTs. However, Phyllis doesn’t wake up. They load her onto a stretcher, and Diane notices her engagement ring in Phyllis’ hand. She snatches it, and the EMT sees. Diane then shows it to Jack, who is certain that Jeremy was the one who bumped him and stole it.

In a shocking turn of events, Jeremy comes forward and reveals that he and Phyllis are married on Y&R! However, no one believes him, and the gathered people rant that she wouldn’t have married him without telling her friends and family. The plot thickens when Jeremy hurls insults at Diane, and it becomes clear that Phyllis and Jeremy are working together to set up Diane for a murder rap.

A leaked scene suggests that Phyllis may die and have a funeral, and it looks like a poison scheme may be involved. This wouldn’t be the first time there’s been a set-up with poison involving Red on Y&R. The show may be recycling storylines, and it’s possible that Jeremy married Phyllis so he could be the one to press charges against Diane.
