Phyllis Summers and Diane Jenkins are two of the most manipulative and cunning characters in the fictional town of Genoa City, and in the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, their storylines intertwine in unexpected ways.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Jeremy is back from Europe and determined to find Diane, and he enlists Phyllis to help him with his search. Unbeknownst to Jeremy, Diane is actually hiding out with Jack at the Abbott cabin.
Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith states that Phyllis is working in tandem with Jeremy, but she would never admit that she’s working for him. Instead, Phyllis is bringing her own moxie to the plan. However, her obsession with Diane is leading her down a dangerous path, causing her to jeopardize her relationships with Summer, Daniel, and even her best friends, Michael and Lauren.
As Phyllis continues to search for Diane, she discovers that Kyle has ordered a delivery to the cabin. She calls the landline, and Diane answers, causing Diane to freak out. If she knew it was Phyllis, she would just be annoyed. But Diane thinks that it couldn’t have been Jeremy on the other end, and now he has found her.
While Phyllis justifies what she’s doing, she doesn’t know that everything is about to blow up in her face. The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to see what happens next as the drama unfolds.
