Diane’s Plan to Replace Ashley with Allie in Jabot Lab

Ashley Abbott hasn’t been inside the Jabot lab in months, maybe even longer. Now with Co-CEO Diane Jenkins on her latest power play after firing her son & COO Kyle Abbott, she’s all about replacing Ashley in the lab with Jack Abbott’s granddaughter Allie. Related & most likely before Ashley returns to Genoa City Chelsea Lawson will return home to find it took 2 people to replace her, Sally & Chloe.

Chelsea’s Position at Marchetti Taken by Sally and Chloe

Not only are things in progress professionally on Y&R in Genoa City for Ashley to not be needed at Jabot even though her need to fans has been questionable to start with, but Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may as well update her resume because she has now been replaced by Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) & Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

Sure, Sally Spectra was hired on as “interim Creative Director” to fill in for Chelsea at Marchetti. Sure, the CEO of Marchetti Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has agreed to have Sally bring on Chloe as her #2 temporarily. Sure, sure. What happens when they’re AWESOME & making Marchetti money? Business is business & Chelsea will be out of a job.

Ashley’s Extended Absence from Jabot Lab

MIA on Y&R: Ashley Inside the Lab & Jack Abbott’s Mind Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has not been inside the Jabot lab in months. Even before she & Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) divorced & her mental health flared up, she had not been into the labs in months before that. Now out of almost nowhere, Co-CEO Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) wants to replace Ashley with her niece Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), who works for Jabot in Paris. According to Diane, Allie is just as good as Ashley in the lab, & Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is buying it.

Jack Abbott’s Response to Workplace Changes

Young & the Restless fans totally saw the parting of ways between Jabot & Kyle coming & are standing by for his separation from the Abbott Estate right now. Y&R fans, however, did not see Diane advocating to replace Ashley. Ashley hasn’t been working. What is there to replace? What is going on with Jack Abbott?

Potential Aftermath for Ashley and Chelsea in Genoa City

Ashley & Chelsea Out & the Aftermath in Genoa City Yes, that’s all Ashley Abbott needs is to return to Genoa City refreshed & ready to move on only to find that her niece Allie Nguyen has been running her lab. If Allie has been doing so well inside the Jabot lab in Paris, why hasn’t she &/or her success been mentioned on Y&R? Why didn’t Ashley spend any time with her during any of her recent trips to Paris? Why isn’t Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) spending any time with her as she is still in Paris & Ashley isn’t yet able to take visitors?

As for Chelsea Lawson, her mental stability is still questionable at best. Now she & almost everyone else are going OCD about her son Connor’s OCD. Chelsea’s close to being a wreck again. What happens when she learns that her son’s father’s girlfriend Sally & her off & on again BFF Chloe have replaced her at Marchetti?

Will Ashley &/or Chelse find a way to be reinstated into their professional positions in Genoa City? Or, will these ladies regress?
