In a suite at the GCAC, Nick is heartbroken over Phyllis’ death. Sally tries to comfort him, and he admits that he has tried to reach Summer but she needs space. Sally knows that Summer must be devastated and is glad that they stayed the night. Nick tells her that he has already told Noah and Faith, but hasn’t had the heart to tell Christian yet. Sally tells him that he is amazing and she is there for him.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon is shaken by Phyllis’ death and is comforted by Chance. Christine joins them, and they discuss the possibility of Phyllis being poisoned. Michael walks in and tells them that he and Lauren are devastated by the news of Phyllis’ death. He also shares a voicemail that Phyllis left him, where she expresses her fear of Diane and asks for his help.

In the hotel room, Phyllis is shocked when an EMT arrives with the blood sample that they needed for their plan to frame Diane. She asks Jeremy if the police bought their story and if Chance took note of her whispering in the ambulance about poison. The EMT assures her that he stuck to the script and that they bought his story. Jeremy warns him to stick to his story if questioned by the police again. Phyllis is concerned about her children and how they reacted to her collapsing.

On Crimson Lights’ patio, Michael plays the voicemail that Phyllis left him. Christine is surprised to hear Phyllis express fear of Diane, and Michael laughs out loud, realizing that Phyllis planned her own death.

In the hotel room, Jeremy orders Phyllis to leave Genoa City immediately. She doesn’t know where she wants to go, but he tells her that it’s too dangerous for her to be there. As Phyllis looks at a news article about her planned memorial services, she realizes that nothing will ever be the same.
