Fans of the popular daytime soap opera, Young and the Restless, have been eagerly anticipating the show’s 50th-anniversary celebration. And according to recent reports, their wishes may be coming true. Some of the show’s former stars are set to make a return for the momentous occasion.
Lauralee Bell, who plays the show’s leading lady, recently hinted at a long-awaited reunion that’s sure to bring joy to fans’ hearts. In a backstage video shared on February 22, Bell and several of her former castmates quoted famous movie lines, with Tricia Cast responding with a quote from Poltergeist.
Michael Damian, who played pop idol Danny, and Patty Weaver also appeared in the video. Damian, who left the show after being a popular love interest for several characters, returned for the special event. He was offered the role after singing “She Did It” on American Bandstand in 1981. Although he exited the show for a time, his return has been eagerly anticipated by fans.
