Young and the Restless Star Michelle Stafford Remembers Late Co-Star Tom Sizemore
Following the passing of Tom Sizemore at the age of 61 on March 3, his former co-star Michelle Stafford paid tribute to the late actor. In an Instagram post, she expressed sadness upon hearing the news of his death, and said that she hoped he now rests in peace.
Stafford worked with Sizemore when she played Nina on General Hospital in 2016 and starred alongside him in the biographical thriller Durant’s Never Closes, where he played a restaurateur with mysterious Mob ties, and Stafford played his leading lady. Despite Sizemore’s well-publicized struggles with substance abuse, domestic violence conviction, and allegations of sexual abuse, Stafford noted that working with him was a joy and that he was a talented artist who was focused on bringing the best to the scene.
She described the film as amazing and said that Sizemore was “absolutely spectacular” in it. Stafford’s thoughts and prayers went out to Sizemore’s family, and she concluded her tribute by expressing her hope that the late actor now rests in peace.
