Young & Restless Spoilers: Phyllis’ Obsession with Diane Could Turn Deadly
As the popular soap opera “Young & Restless” unfolds, tensions are high between Phyllis and Diane. Phyllis has long held a grudge against Diane, believing that she has stolen the life that Phyllis should have had. And now, with Diane back in Genoa City and Jeremy eager to “reconnect” with her, Phyllis sees an opportunity to take her vendetta to the next level.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Phyllis may align herself with Jeremy in an effort to eliminate Diane once and for all. When Phyllis discovers that Diane is hiding out at the Abbott cabin, she could potentially point Jeremy in that direction and set Diane up for what could be the real death of her.
Unfortunately, Phyllis’ obsession with Diane is taking a toll on her relationships with those closest to her. According to headwriter Josh Griffith, “Phyllis just can’t let go of this sense that Diane has stolen the life that she should have had,” and it’s causing her to put her relationships with her daughter, Summer, her son, Daniel, and her best friends, Michael and Lauren, in jeopardy.
As the tension between Phyllis and Diane continues to mount, fans of “Young & Restless” are left wondering: will Phyllis go so far as to kill Diane? And if she does, what will the consequences be for everyone involved?
