Days of Our Lives spoilers September 23, 2026 give EJ DiMera the conversation he has been saving since his jet landed, and Johnny DiMera is on the receiving end. Every published preview has EJ confronting his son on Wednesday. The most cautious says only that EJ has some things he needs to discuss with Johnny. The rest reach for words like angry, dicey and testy, which tells you how the discussion goes.

Look at what EJ came home to. Theo Carver left a resignation letter on Johnny’s desk and has quit DiMera, so the company is down its other co-CEO. Sarah Horton‘s anonymous complaint about Coriseal is with the FDA, and the FDA is looking into it. One spoiler write-up says EJ is furious that Johnny has not toed the company line, and blames his loose talk for Theo walking out.

Johnny has not been seen since September 16, when he owned up to Theo about the complaint and kept quiet about how long he had known. Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Marlena Evans and Belle Black Take Their Worries to Sydney

Marlena Evans and Belle Black bring their concerns to Sydney DiMera at the Brady Pub. That is a grandmother and an aunt at the same table as the granddaughter they are fretting over. Published previews do not agree on what the worry is. One names her father, one points at what EJ has been up to, and another wonders whether it is Dante or Italy.

Sydney has packed a lot into two weeks. She debuted at a Monte Carlo poker table on September 10, in a seat her mother’s fiance, Dante Vitali, paid for in exchange for a cut of her winnings. She turned up at her father’s door in Italy on September 17 and flew home with EJ, Belle and Chad. The next day she told her grandfather Roman that she liked working for Dante.

Here is what nobody has lined up yet. Belle is the one who carried that 1992 Rome photograph to Marlena on September 18, and Marlena is the one who looked at it and said Marino means of the sea. Sydney told her father in Italy that she knows the name Dominic Marino. My gut says the concern at that table has a surname, and it is not Brady.

Why Is EJ DiMera Angry With Johnny on Days of Our Lives?

Because Theo is gone and EJ DiMera thinks Johnny’s mouth is the reason. That is how the one detailed preview tells it, and the others stop at the confrontation itself.

The part nobody covering Wednesday has said out loud: on July 6, Johnny confirmed that he planted the arsenic information in Sarah’s office on his father’s directive. So the son EJ DiMera is dressing down is the one person who can put EJ’s own order on the record. Steve has argued Johnny might have been trying to save Holly, and nobody has squared that with what Johnny said. Reading between the lines, the leverage in that room runs toward the son, and EJ may not see it coming.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Theo Carver Turns to His Father

Theo turns to Abe Carver for advice on Wednesday, and the previews cannot agree on the subject. It could be walking away from DiMera. It could be the job at Gabi Chic that Gabi Hernandez offered him by phone on Monday, a call that ended with no firm commitment. One write-up hints at something more personal, and I would not bet against it.

Maggie Kiriakis confides in Julie Williams on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Philip Kiriakis and Xander Cook Kiriakis told her the money to pay off the Titan loan is secured, and she learned it came from Philip’s gambling. She said she wanted no part of it, then reluctantly agreed to stay after both men pleaded with her. Philip left that meeting staring at a poker chip.

The Kiriakis mansion is already gone, and one preview says the man who bought it is still gnawing at her. Do not be surprised if Julie hears more about Marino than about the money.
