Days of Our Lives Spoilers Next 2 Weeks: Lexie Carver Tragedy Shatters Salem as Gwen Targets EJ

DAYS OF OUR LIVES SPOILERS NEXT 2 WEEKS: THE TUNNELS TAKE EVERYTHING

TL;DR: Days of Our Lives spoilers for the next 2 weeks, August 10-21, 2026, deliver Stephanie’s heartbreaking decision, Chanel’s labor scare, Rafe’s Alamainia standoff, a Friday tunnel discovery that breaks the Carvers, then Gwen’s homecoming aimed straight at EJ.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers Monday, August 10: Stephanie’s Painful Exit

The Days of Our Lives spoilers next 2 weeks, covering August 10 through 21, 2026, open with Kiriakis heartbreak. Monday pushes Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) to a painful decision, and reading between the lines, she is the one packing a bag so Joy Wesley can recover close to baby Kelsey. Alex Kiriakis gets a dose of perspective from Chanel DiMera, who knows plenty about fighting for family while your own body betrays you. Before the first week is out, Chanel realizes she is in labor and faces scary complications at the hospital.

One note for the message boards. Circulating chatter keeps recycling Stephanie’s deleted voicemail as a fresh twist, but that bomb detonated back in mid July. What is new is the fallout, because Stephanie married Alex on February 12, and now the mother of her husband’s baby arrives with a spinal stenosis diagnosis and every sympathy card in the deck.

Tuesday and Wednesday: Leo’s Gamble and Philip’s Risky Pitch

Over in Alamainia, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) stops waiting for rescue and makes Dimitri von Leuschner a shocking offer. Dimitri is obsessed with winning Leo back, and Leo knows it, so my gut tells me he dangles a reunion to buy freedom for Gwen Rizczech. Back in Salem, Theo Carver hides the truth about Lexie Carver from Abe Carver, and that secret will cost him by Friday. Tuesday also brings a genuine stunt, as John Oliver begins a three episode guest run, taped months ago, in a mystery role tangled up in EJ DiMera‘s dirty business.

Wednesday, Philip Kiriakis pitches Gabi Hernandez a risky plan, and since EJ just called Titan’s entire loan due, risky may be the only card left. Xander Cook Kiriakis makes a drastic decision of his own. Across town, Rachel Black finally opens up to Brady Black about her strange visitor, and we all know that was Kristen DiMera hiding behind a Susan Banks disguise.

Does Lexie Carver Die This Week on Days of Our Lives?

No episode or official preview has confirmed a death date for Lexie, so treat any obituary you read as premature. What the schedule does show is a Friday collision nobody else has connected. Theo and Chad DiMera make their devastating discovery in the DiMera tunnels, EJ and his right hand Rita take drastic action, and John Oliver’s mystery man appears on exactly the episodes that bracket the tragedy. This show tapes ten months ahead, so that clustering points to one detonation episode, not a slow fade. If I know these writers, Friday ends with Abe learning everything at once.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers Thursday and Friday: Immunity and the Tunnels

Thursday, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) lands in Alamainia with no jurisdiction and no extradition treaty, so he arrives armed with paperwork instead of handcuffs. His tempting offer to Gwen is immunity in exchange for coming home to testify against EJ, and her confession letter makes her the most dangerous witness in Salem. Dimitri refuses to give up on Leo. Meanwhile Alex turns to Steve Johnson for help, and leaning on Stephanie’s father while the marriage wobbles is a bold play.

Friday belongs to the Carvers. Theo and Chad follow the trail into the tunnels and find Lexie, hidden away and fading, the discovery this whole stretch built toward. Nikki Crawford has played this farewell arc with tremendous grace, and the material coming for James Reynolds looks like awards reel gold.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers Week of August 17: Gwen Comes Home Loaded

Week two is where the dominoes land. Don’t be surprised if Gwen takes Rafe’s immunity deal and comes home swinging, because her testimony puts EJ and Rita’s cover up in a courtroom. Circulating chatter says Leo heads back to Salem before long too, and that Javi Hernandez is about to admit he never got over him. If that lands while Leo is busy bargaining with his obsessed ex, somebody’s heart gets flattened.

The softer side of Salem gets its turn as well. Word is Julie Williams and Foster share a first kiss during this stretch, the sweetest romance the show has cooked up in years. And as Abe and Theo grieve, expect estranged wife Paulina Price to become the shoulder Abe needs, whether he wants it or not. Keep an eye on the full Salem lineup for the next wave of teasers.

The DiMera Empire Is Cracking From the Inside

Our take: EJ spent months tying up loose ends, and every one of them is coming untied in the same two weeks. His sister is dying in the family tunnels while his star witness sits one immunity deal from a plane ticket. Add a loan power play uniting the whole Kiriakis clan against him, and that is not control. That is a countdown.

Lexie’s goodbye deserves the gentler word, though. Whatever Friday brings, Salem is about to grieve a beloved doctor twice over, and we will be watching with the tissues out. Share a favorite Lexie memory with us over on our Facebook page and help us send her off right.

Yes, it will be sad that she is dying. She was very unfair in her decision to treat Paulina like nothing. Paulina was strong to pull away & deserves recognition.
