Bold and the Beautiful recap September 24: Will calls Dylan his girlfriend, Katie Logan Spencer erupts, and Katie sends Hope to recruit Zende.

TL;DR: Will made Dylan his girlfriend and Katie Logan Spencer went to war over it. Across town, RJ told Zende his designs lack focus, and Katie told Hope to go get him.
Will Made It Official and Dylan Moved the Clocks
The Bold and the Beautiful recap September 24 is a Logan episode from top to bottom, and Katie Logan Spencer spent all of it deciding who gets to belong. It opened at the beach house, where Melissa “Miss” Dylan poured Will Spencer his coffee and confessed she had set his clocks ahead an hour the night before. Will decided to spend the bonus hour back on the sofa.
They toyed with calling in to work. He told her, “You’re my girl, Dylan,” and when she promised not to make a habit of staying over, he said he hoped she would. Then he asked to bring her to Logan and show her the Spencer kingdom. Dylan warned him to talk to his mother first, because Katie might think she was there to spy.
Across town, Darcy Dylan spent the morning calling and texting her daughter, smiling when she guessed where Dylan had slept. When Dylan got home, Darcy was relieved, then delighted. Dylan said she is crazy about Will, that he invited her to Logan, and that she wishes Katie could find a way to accept her. Katie Logan Spencer Went Shopping for a Forrester Designer
At Logan, Katie could not find Will for her meeting, and neither Hope Logan Spencer nor Deke Sharpe had seen him. Katie crowed about incredible numbers and demanded compelling new ideas while Deke admitted he is a little overwhelmed. Hope and Katie agreed they both left because they felt underappreciated, and Hope named someone else who might feel the same way: Zende Forrester Dominguez. She has reached out once. He has not answered.
Later, over sales projections, Deke said he will need another designer’s help. Katie mused, “Like Zende?” and told Hope to try him again. “Who knows what might happen?”
RJ Told Zende His Designs Lack Focus
At Forrester, RJ Forrester swore Zende to secrecy about the new Electra line, which he called a direct shot at Logan that they will never see coming. Zende spent most of the scene fuming about Hope bailing to work over there. When RJ told him his designs need to be sharpened and focused, Zende nearly came over the desk. “You think my designs lack focus?!”
RJ said they are on the same team. Zende said it sounded like RJ’s team. RJ reminded him the collection was his idea and told him to get his focus back, and the second RJ walked out, Zende slammed the door.
The timing is the story. Forrester told Zende he is not sharp enough on the same afternoon Logan decided it wants him. We flagged where this was heading in our preview of Zende’s breaking point, and Thursday did not disappoint.
Why Does Katie Hate Dylan on Bold and the Beautiful?
Katie did not name a reason on Thursday, but the history is not hidden. Dylan was behind the wheel of the car that killed Luna Nozawa in November 2025, and Luna was pregnant with Will’s baby. It was ruled an accident, Dylan faced no charges, and Will has known since the week it happened. Here is what nobody else is connecting: Katie made two moves on Thursday and they were the same move. She is pulling Zende into Logan and pushing Dylan out of the family, and both times she is the one deciding who belongs.
Katie Logan Spencer Drew Her Line at the Word Girlfriend
Will finally strolled into Logan, apologized for being late, said he had been with Dylan and asked his mother to be chill. Katie said she does not trust her. Will told her she should, because Dylan is coming by later. “I want to show my girlfriend where I work.”
Katie exploded at the word girlfriend. She told her son she will do everything necessary to ensure his safety, asked why he needs to be with someone who needs saving, and delivered the line of the week: “Melissa Dylan is not Spencer material.” Will just shook his head at his mother’s dramatics.
My gut says Katie Logan Spencer just made Dylan more attractive to her son, not less. Don’t be surprised if the girlfriend shows up at Logan anyway, and if Zende takes Hope’s call before the week is out. Friday, Darcy is scheduled to remind Dylan she does not need Katie’s approval, and Zende’s frustrations are scheduled to come to a head.

Katie Is Losing Both Fights She Picked on Thursday
Here is where we land. Katie wants the designer who does not work for her and does not want the girlfriend her son already chose. She can win one of those. She is not getting both.
