TL;DR: Bluesy Burke won’t be a regular in Port Charles anymore as she heads off to college, but the show isn’t saying goodbye to Charlotte Cassadine. GH boss Frank Valentini confirmed to Soap Opera Digest that she’ll swing back into town over the holidays and her school breaks.

Port Charles Hasn’t Seen the Last of Her

GH shipped Charlotte Cassadine off to a Maine boarding school on September 28, but Bluesy Burke is far from finished with Port Charles’ favorite pint-sized schemer. Valentini made it clear the actress is still family, and Charlotte will pop back in whenever the college calendar allows.

The real-life reason is sweet. Bluesy Burke is heading out of state for college, and she admitted she seriously weighed putting school on hold to keep playing Charlotte. Valentini wouldn’t hear of it, urged her to go, and promised the role would be waiting. By her last day on set, he was already asking when she could fit in another visit.

Life Without Port Charles’ Favorite Little Baddie
