Pass The Salt, Pass The Secrets! B&B’s Brooke Logan Is Setting A Very Dangerous Table For Two
BROOKE LOGAN TURNS A PEACE OFFERING INTO A SPY MISSION
TL;DR: B&B’s Brooke Logan has spent weeks leaving voicemails for her daughter, and a cozy peace dinner is the perfect cover for turning Hope into an unwitting informant against Katie’s rival fashion house.

Mama Has One Move Left, And It Comes With Dessert
Brooke Logan has run out of doors to knock on, and a woman in that position starts testing windows. Hope Logansends her calls to voicemail, Katie Logan has decided tears are wasted on a sister like her, and Ridge Forrester keeps hearing the same lament: if only Katie and Hope were not estranged from her. On September 29 she even left Hope a message about how hurt she still is and how much she loves and misses her, and Hope looked horrified and let it ring.
This week’s preview has Brooke marching into Logan to announce she is more certain than ever that this is all about revenge, with Hope standing right there to hear it. Friday has her making an appeal to Katie that will land about as well as a soufflé in an earthquake. Brooke does not stop when one sister says no. She goes around, and the softest way around is the daughter who admitted to her aunt, “I miss her too.”

Hope Is Starving For A Mother And Dying To Vent
Hope has been dodging her mother, which means every worry she owns is stuck in her chest. Tuesday’s preview has her fretting about her next Logan line, her brother Deke Sharpe is so swamped that she admitted he is spread a little thin, and the whole house is chasing a second hit to stay on top. That is a mountain of anxious chatter waiting for a sympathetic ear.
Mother and daughter also have a track record. The last time they schemed together, Hope pushed Brooke Logan to demand Steffy Forrester’s co-CEO chair, and Brooke announced she deserved it with tears in her eyes. They make a formidable team when they share an enemy, and Katie has volunteered for the role.
Here Is How The Dinner Goes Wrong
Picture the table. Brooke Logan picks the restaurant, orders comfort food for two and says nothing about Katie until Hope brings her up first, because a professional knows when to stay quiet. She does not lecture, does not sigh and does not bring up Logan’s rivalry. Hope has spent weeks bracing for a scolding, so the absence of one feels like a miracle. Then come the gentle questions. How is Deke holding up? Is Katie pushing too hard? Is anyone helping with the next line? Every question sounds like love. Every answer goes straight into a mental notebook.
Somewhere between the entree and the dessert menu, Hope mentions the one thing she should have kept in her purse: whatever is keeping Katie up at night. A missed deadline, a shaky launch date, a designer stretched too thin. Brooke thanks her with a hug that lasts three seconds too long, and Hope floats home believing her mama finally came around.

Mother Knows Best, Which Is The Whole Problem
By morning, Brooke has carried every crumb to Ridge, and Eric Forrester is already the type to wonder aloud whether marketing should leak a line. Ridge has already said Katie and Hope put a knife in Forrester’s back, so he will not need much convincing to give it a twist. Forrester suddenly knows exactly when to strike and exactly where Logan flinches.
Hope realizes too late, when a Forrester move lands a little too neatly on top of something she said over dessert. Katie wants to know who talked. Hope has to admit that the leak came from the peace dinner, from the woman who keeps saying how much she misses her. Brooke will call it a misunderstanding. Katie will call it war.

Somebody Cancel The Reservation
Brooke Logan has spent months insisting she only wants her family whole, and the cruelest part of this theory is that she might mean every word while she does it. A mother can adore her daughter and still treat her like a wire tap. The only question is whether Hope tastes the poison before the check arrives.
