Her husband, singer-songwriter Jesse Ruben, is right there beside her as the other half of the brand-new parent duo.

A Love Story With A Soundtrack

This romance has been building for years. Jen Jacob and Jesse had their first date back in 2012 at New York’s Rockwood Music Hall, and he popped the question outside that same venue in February 2018. They married that October at Radnor Valley Country Club, with the bride’s best friend officiating.

Ashley Morgan’s Real-Life Cheering Section

Jesse has been in his wife’s corner for a long time. When Jen Jacob landed her role on the CBS soap, he posted that he sobbed happy tears, a first since the wedding, and called it a reward for years of hard work. The couple later relocated from NYC to Atlanta, the show’s home base.

On screen, Ashley has a full plate too. She is now maid of honor for Shanice Johnson, who just got engaged and is talking about marrying before Christmas. Ashley also helped keep the proposal trip a secret. With wedding plans swirling and a real-life due date on the calendar, Jen Jacob is about to have a very busy year.
