This Week in Port Charles

Port Charles is full of people with somewhere to be and someone to annoy. Jason Morgan opens the week with one pointed talking-to and closes it with another, and neither person looks ready for the talk. In between, hospital hallways fill with gossip, backroom bargains change hands, and a few characters decide that now is the perfect time to take a gamble.

Across town, Sonny Corinthos dangles an offer that sounds almost too kind, and Ava Jerome floats a plan that carries serious danger. Two people far from home wait on news that could change plenty, and everyone else has to scramble to keep up. Somebody is going to say yes to something they should have walked away from.

Monday, October 19th

Britt Westbourne agrees to a deal that has the whole town wondering what she stands to gain. Britt once faked her own death, so secrecy is practically a hobby, and she will keep the details close.

Trina Robinson cannot shake an uneasy feeling. After the flowers from a so-called biggest fan, charm has gone out of fashion, and Trina can sense that something around her is off.

Anna Devane pays Sonny a visit to see how he is holding up. The visit feels gentle, though she has also been asked to look over the evidence against him, and it leaves open which Anna is knocking on his door.

Carly Spencer finds herself on the wrong side of a grilling from Lucas Jones. He has plenty of questions, and when somebody knows you that well, there is nowhere to hide.

Jason confronts Serena Baldwin about her behavior. What set him off is anyone’s guess, but she and Lucy Coe have spent days pushing him toward a Deception document, so Serena has plenty of recent candidates.

Tuesday, October 20th

Carly takes an emotional leap she cannot take back. Who or what she is gambling on stays under wraps for now, which only makes it more tempting to wonder.

Alexis Davis hands Valentin Cassadine news that knocks him off balance. Valentin rarely lets anyone watch him get rattled, so whatever Alexis says must be a doozy.

Sonny passes along a warning to Jason. Coming from a man with Sonny’s history, it deserves more attention than a casual remark would.

Justine Turner makes a proposal to Drew Cain. After the mess Lulu Spencer’s article stirred up, any deal on the table is bound to have strings worth studying.

Portia Robinson keeps a wary watch on Monet Mitchell. Monet now holds Curtis’s legal future in her hands, so Portia has every reason to watch closely.

Wednesday, October 21st

Anna tracks down Valentin. Carly has been nudging her to lean on him, so this could be the first step down a road Anna swore she would not take.

Britt’s attitude shifts enough that people around her trade looks. She has already cleared a room at the Brown Dog and been banned by her own rideshare, so a change in mood is bound to get noticed.

Molly Lansing-Davis asks her mother for guidance. Alexis has opinions in bulk, so Molly should expect much more than she asked for.

Jason slides a proposal toward Lucy. She has been scheming for control of Deception, so a proposal arriving from Jason’s direction gets her full attention.

Tracy Quartermaine sits down with Cody Bell for a catch-up. With Tracy, small talk never stays small for long.

Thursday, October 22nd

Britt delivers some juicy gossip to Lucas. Spreading rumors is a talent of hers, and the only question is who ends up paying for it.

Chase gets news that knocks him sideways. His marriage is ending and a custody fight over Phoebe is brewing, so he does not need another surprise.

Emma Scorpio-Drake starts investigating on her own. What she is chasing remains a mystery, but she has been asking pointed questions for days.

Michael Corinthos stays beside Jordan Ashford as the two wait on medical news. Jordan’s treatment in Germany is described as intense, so each hour of waiting feels longer than the last.

Ava ends up on the spot. She and Drew carry plenty of secrets together, so a question from the wrong person at the wrong moment could be costly.

Friday, October 23rd

Ava pitches Drew a plan, and anyone who knows her history can guess it comes with a hefty dose of danger. Whether Drew bites is the question that hangs over the finish of the week.

Jason confronts Josslyn Jacks. She has spent the week admiring the piers she snatched from Sonny, and a lecture from Jason is the last gift she wants.

Ric Lansing butts heads with Monet. Two attorneys with strong personalities and no interest in backing down make for a showdown worth watching.

Lulu feels discouraged. With a libel suit hanging over her head, her spirits sinking should surprise no one.

Sonny dangles a deal that is hard to resist. Who it is aimed at, and what it costs, will keep Port Charles guessing.
