Sure, Chance Chancellor looks great in a suit, but he’s been wearing one for 10 minutes. How is Chance Co-CEO material? Perhaps if one is not equipped to be a solo CEO, they should not be a Co-CEO. It’s seriously as if Oprah were to make an appearance in Genoa City & offered Co-CEO positions to everyone wearing a suit or something from Fenmore’s for the ladies.

The Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has already promised his wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) the CEO position of Chancellor Industries once he screws over his long-time friend Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) & takes it away from her using below-par methods including misleading Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Just as Chance Chancellor is demanding a Co-CEO position, Lily Winters is demanding to be instated at Chancellor Industries as CEO once Victor helps her bring down Billy Boy Abbott & acquires CI. Is it Lily’s first day in Genoa City? Does she realize what’s involved when doing business with Victor Newman? Chance has a much better chance of getting his way with his demand than Lily does her demand. Just watch, Nikki Newman & Lily Winters will agree to disagree & will become Co-CEOs of Chancellor Winters.

Don’t all of these companies including Newman Enterprises, Jabot, Chancellor Industries, & even the reinstated Hamilton Winters have an assortment of divisions under their umbrella? Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is successful & happy being CEO of Marchetti underneath the Jabot umbrella. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) seems to be doing well as the Newman Media CEO underneath the Newman Enterprises umbrella aside from the hot mess he has made of his relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
