With Sophia Choi‘s due date just weeks away and Tate Black spending more time at her bedside, those lingering looks and tender moments are telling a whole different story than the “we’re giving our baby up for adoption” narrative they’ve been pushing for months.

Remember when everything seemed settled with Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree stepping up to adopt the baby? Well, that plan crashed and burned in spectacular fashion!

Johnny‘s sudden reversal had me throwing popcorn at my screen. After all that build-up, the man just changed his mind! On the flip side, the Black/Donovan clan would likely embrace a grandchild with open arms. Brady Black has shown tremendous growth as a father, and I suspect he’d support whatever decision Tate makes. And can you imagine Theresa Donovan as a grandmother? The thought alone has me cackling!

With Sophia now legally an adult and both teens having supportive (if somewhat dysfunctional) families, the obstacles to keeping their baby are rapidly disappearing.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? MY SHOCKING PREDICTION!

As we barrel toward Sophia‘s delivery date, I’m making a bold prediction: Not only will Tate and Sophia decide to keep their baby, but we might see a declaration of love that rivals some of Salem’s most iconic moments!

Think about it – the birth episode will be the perfect opportunity for Tate to realize his true feelings. Nothing says soap opera like a dramatic hospital confession while someone’s in labor! Will he blurt out “I love you” between Sophia‘s contractions? The odds are looking good!

Of course, this decision would throw their college plans into chaos. But since when has a little thing like higher education stood in the way of soap opera destiny?

One thing’s crystal clear – the “we’re too young to be parents” stance they’ve maintained is crumbling before our eyes.
