Y&R Speculation: Nick & Sharon Team Up to Save Phyllis via Cassidy 1st
Is Y&R’s Nick Newman about to team up with Sharon Newman to save his other ex-wife? He’s always playing hero to one of his lady loves.
TL;DR: Phyllis Summers, with nothing to lose, is almost worse than anyone else on Y&R with nothing to lose. It’s not her first day in town. She knows everyone inside and out, doesn’t mind hanging out in the gray area…and is very computer savvy. Her ex-husband, Nick Newman, knows this, and her new friend out of forced trauma, Sharon Newman, knows this, too.
Is Nick Newman about to team up with both of these ex-wives, with whom he has children, to save them all just in time on Young and the Restless?
Cane Doesn’t Care About Cassidy 1st, What About Phyllis?
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) can chill. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has not even mentioned Cassidy 1st. He may not even know that it exists. If he does, pursuing a company that donates a portion of its profits to charity would not do him any favors in rebuilding his children’s trust after living a double life for 6 years. However, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), with nothing to lose, is a loose cannon.
Y&R’s Phyllis Summers In and Out of the Cane Train and a Job
Can Cane Ashby make up his mind? One day, Phyllis is his sidekick, and they are going to take over Genoa City, and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be bowing at their feet. The next day, Cane calls everything else and leaves Phyllis high and dry with nothing to lose and nothing to do, and then lather, rinse, repeat.
Now, after Cane canceled the Abbott Communications launch party, he claims to need Phyllis in his orbit to help facilitate Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) doing his AI dirty work. Cane claims that if anyone can run with this new AI program to take down Victor Newman and to take over Chancellor Industries without ending up in jail, it’s Billy Abbott.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has already warned Phyllis of the dangers of getting involved with Cane Ashby and his adventures with AI, including the option of going to prison. Now, with visiting his baby momma, one of two, Sharon, he could not be closer to giving up on Phyllis and letting her lie in the bed she ends up making for herself in or out of prison.
Nick & Sharon Knock Their Heads Together Out of the Box
It’s about time that Nick and Sharon knock their cute little heads together to help their new mutual friend, Phyllis. Yes, hell has frozen over, Y&R fans… Sharon and Phyllis are sort of friends since recently being kidnapped and saved together.
There has to be a place at Sharon’s Cassidy 1st for Phyllis to be savvy within the law to help do good things. Phyllisneeds purpose. What better and safer for Phyllis than to be strung along by Cane Ashby, than to work for Sharon at her new company, which she received as a souvenir from Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby)?
Phyllis needs to be challenged as well, almost daily. Working with Sharon Newman for the greater good of Genoa City IS the best option for all parties on Young and the Restless.
