GH SPOILERS OCTOBER 14: DREW CAIN’S REVENGE PLOT AGAINST MICHAEL AND TRACY EXPLODES AFTER MONICA’S WILL

TL;DR: Drew Cain declares war on Michael Corinthos and Tracy Quartermaine after being cut from Monica’s will, while Curtis shares an alternative theory about Drew’s shooting with Portia as the PCPD closes in on arresting Michael.

OH. MY. GOD. The Quartermaine family is about to IMPLODE! Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has officially gone FULL VILLAIN after Monica’s will reading, and I’m here to tell you—this is about to get UGLY. Like, uglier than that time he manipulated Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) using her own son against her!

Is Drew Really Planning to Destroy Michael and Tracy?

Yes, Drew has explicitly declared his intention to exact revenge on both Michael and Tracy following his disinheritance from Monica’s will.

And can we talk about the AUDACITY?! This man—who Monica ADOPTED, who she gave a family when he had nothing—is now spitting on her memory by attacking her biological grandson and sister-in-law? I’ve been watching soaps for years, but this level of betrayal? It’s making my blood boil! Martin Gray is apparently helping Drew with his legal vendetta, because of course he is. “All bets are off,” Drew told his lawyer about testifying. Translation? He’s willing to PERJURE himself to destroy Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson)!

Will Michael Actually Get Arrested for Drew’s Shooting?

The PCPD investigation led by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is on the verge of making an arrest, with all evidence pointing toward Michael as the prime suspect.

This is INSANE! Drew was shot from BEHIND on September 2nd, but somehow he “knows” it was Michael? Please! The man couldn’t have seen his attacker if his life depended on it—which, ironically, it did! But here’s where it gets juicy: Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) just shared an alternative theory with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), and something tells me Curtis is onto something BIG. Could this mean Michael’s being framed?

You know what I think? Drew orchestrated his own shooting! There, I said it!

What’s Next for the Quartermaine Family?

Given Drew’s declared war and the investigation closing in, we’re looking at complete chaos. Don’t be surprised if Drew teams up with that mysterious Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak) who suddenly appeared claiming to be Monica’s sister. Could this mean a two-pronged attack on the Quartermaines from inside AND out?

If I know these writers, Drew’s going to use his Congressional power to launch investigations into ELQ while simultaneously trying to steal Willow back during Michael’s legal crisis. This has all the makings of Drew attempting a hostile takeover—not just of the company, but of Michael’s ENTIRE life! Mark my words: Drew wants Michael’s wife, his kids, AND his inheritance.

Reading between the lines here, I’m betting Curtis’s investigation is going to be the key to exposing the truth. My gut tells me we’re headed for a massive showdown where Drew’s schemes completely backfire. Don’t be surprised if we discover Drew hired someone to shoot him non-fatally just to frame Michael!
