Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) is keeping secrets from Anita (Tamara Tunie), and anyone who knows Anita knows this is a TERRIBLE idea. This woman is the matriarch of the Dupree family, a former famous singer, and she does NOT tolerate lies from her retired Senator husband!
What’s Vernon hiding? Money problems? A health crisis? Some political scandal from his Senate days? Could this be connected to Bill Hamilton‘s investigation of Andre Richardson? What if Vernon knows something about Andre that he hasn’t told Anita to protect their daughter Dani?
