An article about how Sarah was “felled by a Sweet Bits scone” containing pistachio milk.
Rachel now knows Sarah Horton has a life-threatening allergy. She knows EXACTLY what nearly killed Sarah before. And she learned all of this while she’s already resentful and suspicious of Sarah’s relationship with her father.
The recap shows Rachel listening to Brady consoling Sarah over her divorce from Xander Kiriakis on the phone. Let’s remember who Rachel Black IS. This isn’t some innocent kid we’re talking about. Rachel has a HISTORY of acting out when she feels threatened. She’s manipulative. She’s willing to cross lines to get what she wants.
Rachel’s whole world revolves around her parents potentially getting back together. She wants Brady Black and Kristen DiMera to be a family again. Any woman who gets close to Brady is a THREAT to that fantasy, and Rachel eliminates threats.
Now Rachel has discovered that Sarah Horton didn’t just get close to Brady recently. The article Rachel found revealed Sarah KIDNAPPED her as a baby and believed Rachel was her own daughter for an entire YEAR. That’s trauma Rachel didn’t even know existed until she googled Sarah’s name. Imagine learning the woman your dad is falling for literally stole you as an infant!

Days of Our Lives doesn’t show Rachel discovering Sarah Horton’s pistachio allergy for no reason. The show made sure we saw Rachel read that specific detail about the Sweet Bits scone. That’s intentional setup for something AWFUL coming.
Here’s how this could play out: Rachel invites Sarah over or shows up wherever Sarah is with homemade treats or coffee. She acts sweet and apologetic about being rude. Sarah, trying to bond with Brady’s daughter, accepts the peace offering. And then Rachel watches as Sarah has an allergic reaction because Rachel deliberately used pistachio milk.
Would Rachel actually go that far? She’s already shown she’s willing to manipulate situations to keep her parents together. This would just be taking it to the next TERRIFYING level. And DAYS has never shied away from letting kids do dark things on this show.
Brady Black Will Be Devastated If Rachel Hurts Sarah Horton
If Rachel does use Sarah Horton’s allergy to hurt her, Brady Black is going to be absolutely DESTROYED. He’ll blame himself for getting close to Sarah and making his daughter feel threatened. He’ll question everything about his parenting and his relationship choices.
And Sarah? If she survives another allergic reaction, she’s going to be traumatized knowing a CHILD tried to poison her. The woman already went through paralysis once because of that allergy. Going through it again because Brady’s daughter targeted her would be absolutely horrific.
The fallout would be massive. Kristen DiMera would probably use this to argue Brady isn’t fit to have custody. Rachel would need serious psychological help. And any future Brady might have had with Sarah would be completely destroyed because how do you date someone after their kid tries to kill you?
