Bill Is Out Here Planning a Future He Won’t Live to See

I need everyone to stop what they’re doing because Bill Hamilton just asked his wife to have his baby while she is ACTIVELY PLOTTING HIS MURDER. The dramatic irony on Beyond the Gates right now is so thick you could cut it with a knife, and I am both horrified and absolutely entertained.

On Thursday’s episode, Bill ran into Dani at the club and got hit with a wave of nostalgia. They flashed back to happier times in a cabin where young Bill promised young Dani he’d love her when they were old and grey. She gifted him a #1 Dad mug when she was pregnant with Chelsea, and they remembered how happy they were. It was sweet. It was tender. It made Bill Hamilton feel some type of way.

So what does this man do? He turns to Hayley and tells her he wants her to talk to her doctor after the holidays about going off birth control. He’s feeling nostalgic. He wants another baby.

Hayley’s eyes went WIDE. And not in a good way.

Hayley Is Planning a Funeral, Not a Baby Shower

Here’s what Bill doesn’t know: Hayley has been conspiring with her cousin Randy to dispose of him permanently. This woman is not planning nursery colors. She’s planning how to spend her “late” husband’s money on Easy Street. She literally told Randy that everybody has hurt her and she’s learned to turn it to her advantage.

So when Bill Hamilton gets all misty-eyed about fatherhood and asks her to stop taking birth control, Hayley isn’t thinking about baby names. She’s thinking about how this MASSIVELY complicates her murder plot. A pregnancy would tie her to Bill in ways that make his untimely death way more suspicious. A grieving pregnant widow? That’s a lot of scrutiny she does not need.

The look on Hayley’s face when Bill dropped this bomb was absolutely PRICELESS. Marquita Goings deserves an Emmy nomination for that eye-widening moment of pure panic disguised as surprise. You could practically see her brain short-circuiting as she tried to figure out how to respond to her mark wanting to create a whole human with her.

Dani Saw This Coming From a Mile Away

Meanwhile, Dani is over here living her best sober life with Andre, a man who only has eyes for her. She told Bill that Christmas with him used to be “a war” and reminded him that HE made his choice when he left her for Hayley. The shade was immaculate.

Dani also dropped this gem when Hayley appeared: “Get this one fed. You don’t wanna get her fussy.” The absolute DISRESPECT. Dani knows something is off about Hayley, even if she doesn’t know the full extent of the murder plot brewing. Her instincts are screaming and honestly? She should listen to them.

Bill Hamilton is so caught up in his nostalgia and his desire to recreate what he had with Dani that he can’t see the snake in his own bed. He’s showering Hayley with love and future plans while she’s literally counting down the days until she can cash in on his life insurance.

This Is Going to Explode Spectacularly

Here’s my prediction: Hayley is going to have to accelerate her timeline now. Bill wanting a baby means he’s getting MORE attached, MORE involved, MORE likely to notice if something is off. She and Randy need to make their move before Bill starts tracking ovulation cycles and buying pregnancy tests.

But here’s the thing about murder plots on soaps: they NEVER go smoothly. Someone always finds out. Someone always sees something. And in Fairmont Crest, secrets have a way of coming out at the worst possible moments.

My money is on Dani being the one to uncover Hayley’s scheme. The ex-wife saving her ex-husband from his current wife’s murder plot? That’s the kind of delicious drama BTG was built for.

Bill Hamilton better hope someone loves him enough to save him from himself, because this man is walking straight into a trap with a smile on his face and baby fever in his heart.
