Nick Newman Confronts Matt Clark at the Overlook
Nick Newman meets up with Matt Clark at Chancellor Park Overlook on Young and the Restless, and this confrontation is absolutely TENSE! Matt Clark refuses to give Nick any details about where Sienna is being held, smugly suggesting she could end up anywhere if this meeting doesn’t go well. But Nick came prepared and assures Matt Clark that he followed all his instructions and came alone.
Matt Clark wants to get down to business and demands to know about the deal to get Sienna back. Nick reminds him that Victor already ruined him financially with that AI software attack, but Matt Clark fires back that what Victor did is illegal. Nick makes a dig at all the criminal charges attached to Matt Clark before dropping a bombshell offer: one million dollars for Sienna’s safe return!

Matt Clark Finally Shows His True Colors
Matt Clark finally admits to being exactly who he is and confesses that he’s lost everything and has no one left to protect. He taunts Nick Newman by suggesting he should be THANKING him for taking Sienna instead of Noah! The absolute nerve of this man! Nick isn’t having any of it and rushes in to punch Matt Clark in the stomach and then the face, threatening to throw him over the rails to the hungry animals below!
Matt Clark reminds Nick that killing him would mean Sienna dies too. He calls Nick’s bluff and points out that Noah would never forgive him for failing to get Sienna back alive. Matt Clark even threatens to throw HIMSELF over and frame Nick for murder! Nick tells him to go ahead because he’ll just beat the charges like he did last time. Eventually Matt Clark agrees to take the money and will notify Nick Newman of the account number once he’s safely out of the country. Nick warns Matt Clark to never come near his family again!
Phyllis Gets Rejected by Jack
Meanwhile, Phyllis is having a ROUGH day on Young and the Restless! After Billy told her that the Abbotts have decided to put her offer on the back burner, Phyllis rushes over to the Abbott mansion to confront Jack directly. She barges in and announces she’s going to give him his company back, but Jack has already made up his mind. The deal is OFF the table!
Phyllis points out that Jabot is tanking and Jack should put the deal back on the table. She refuses to leave and plants herself firmly on the sofa, demanding to know what changed. Jack doesn’t believe he owes her any explanation, but Phyllis insists she has a right to know since he’s dumping her. She’s offended that Jack had Billy do his dirty work! Jack tells her that her hacking skills are no longer required. They wish each other a happy new year, and Phyllis storms out. After she leaves, Billy arrives and admits he still thinks Phyllis is their best option. Jack senses Billy’s complicated brain has other plans for the AI software!
Sharon Keeps Noah Safe
Over at Sharon’s house, Sharon tries to take Noah’s mind off of things, but he can’t focus on anything while Sienna is missing. Noah believes he should be the one handling this because it’s his business and he’s an adult now! Sharon calls out that Matt Clark is a master manipulator, and it’s best if he stays there with her.
Noah worries that Sienna is running out of time and grabs his coat to rush out to search for her, but Sharon threatens to call Victor’s security to stop him if he tries to go. She reminds him that he is NOT safe and that they should all be fearful of Matt Clark. Noah feels like a prisoner, but Sharon asserts that mothers never stop being mothers! Noah confesses to loving Sienna deeply, and Sharon says she knows he does.
Matt Clark Considers Murder
At the motel, Matt Clark arrives to check on Sienna, who is passed out on the bed. Annie wants to know how the meeting went, and Matt Clark says things went as he expected. But here’s the TERRIFYING part: Matt Clark has yet to decide whether he is going to give Sienna back or not. The even bigger question he’s wrestling with? Whether or not he lets Noah Newman LIVE! This psycho is absolutely unhinged!
Nick returns to Sharon’s house and informs them that things have been put into motion. All he knows from Matt Clark is that Sienna is still alive. Noah panics, but Nick begs his son to let this play out.
