DAYS OF OUR LIVES SPOILERS: BRADY BLACK’S PARENTING PRIORITIES UNDER FIRE AS SARAH ROMANCE HEATS UP

TL;DR: Days of Our Lives fans are furious with Brady Black for pursuing Sarah Horton while his son Tate fails at Salem U and daughter Rachel remains locked up at Bayview. Is this the worst parenting timing in Salem history?

Brady’s New Romance Has Fans Seeing Red

The fan outrage is reaching a boiling point on Days of Our Lives, and honestly? It’s hard to argue with them.

Brady Black just rang in the New Year with a passionate kiss from Sarah Horton in Salem Square. Sounds romantic, right? Under normal circumstances, sure. But these are NOT normal circumstances. Not even close.

Let’s look at what’s actually happening in Brady’s life right now. His teenage daughter Rachel is currently institutionalized at Bayview Sanitarium dealing with serious psychiatric issues. She allegedly shot EJ DiMera, and Kristen confessed to the crime just to protect her. Meanwhile, Rachel is bonding with Sophia Choi at that facility, and we all know Sophia is trouble waiting to happen.

Then there’s Tate. Poor Tate Black is on academic probation at Salem U because he missed too many assignments. The stress from his family falling apart caused him to fail his classes. He can’t even travel to Paris with Holly because he has to stay behind for online courses. When Tate asked his professor Johnny DiMera about improving his grade, Johnny told him the grade was already generous. Ouch.

So what does Dad do during all this chaos? He starts kissing Sarah under the mistletoe on December 26th. Then follows it up with a New Year’s Eve kiss. Because apparently romance waits for no family crisis.

The Timing Could Not Be Worse

Here’s what really gets fans heated. Brady Black isn’t ignoring his kids completely. He visited Rachel at Bayview over Christmas. He’s helping Kristen with legal strategy and even hired Melinda Trask. He promised Rachel they would face everything together as a family.

But then he turns around and pursues a brand new romance while his kids are still drowning.

The fan complaint isn’t that Brady doesn’t love his children. It’s that his priorities seem scrambled. Why is there time for mistletoe kisses and New Year’s romance when your daughter is in a psychiatric facility pushing to confess to a shooting? When your son just found out he’s failing college?

Some fans on social media are arguing Brady deserves happiness after years of Kristen drama. Fair point. The man has been through a lot. But others are firing back that he should just be single for a while. Focus on the kids. Get Rachel stable. Help Tate salvage his academic career. THEN worry about dating.

The Sarah situation adds another layer of mess. She just filed for divorce from Xander in October after discovering he beat Philip Kiriakis into a coma. Xander is furious about losing Sarah, and spoilers confirm he’s about to lash out at Brady this week. Getting involved with Sarah right now means inviting Xander’s wrath directly into an already chaotic situation.

Should Brady Be With Kristen Instead?

A growing faction of fans thinks Brady Black should reconnect with Kristen instead of chasing Sarah. Not romantically, necessarily. Just as co-parents laser focused on saving their daughter.

Kristen literally confessed to a crime she didn’t commit to protect Rachel. She’s facing prison time for something Rachel did. Meanwhile, Brady is off playing Romeo in Salem Square.

The argument goes like this: Rachel needs both parents working together right now. Tate needs his dad present and not distracted by new relationship drama. The Xander conflict is only going to make everything worse. Brady adding a new girlfriend to this volatile mix feels reckless.

Then again, this is Salem. When has anyone here made sensible romantic decisions?

The reality is Brady has a pattern. Every time his life gets complicated, there’s a new woman. Fans have watched this cycle repeat for years. And now they’re calling it out louder than ever.

Sound off in the comments below! Is Brady wrong for pursuing Sarah right now, or does he deserve some happiness? We want to hear YOUR take on this heated debate!
