SOPHIA CHOI FORGIVING HOLLY JONAS IS LIKE A SPIDER INVITING A FLY TO TEA

TL;DR: Days of Our Lives spoilers show Holly Jonas and Sophia Choi pushing past their differences. But considering Sophia tried to slap Holly at Bayview just weeks ago and has been faking catatonia while scheming revenge, this reconciliation has trap written all over it.

From Attempted Battery to Forgiveness in Record Time

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the absolute audacity of what’s happening on Thursday’s Days of Our Lives. Holly Jonas and Sophia Choi are apparently reconciling. Burying the hatchet. Becoming friends again. Just weeks after Sophia literally lunged at Holly and tried to slap her during a visit to Bayview.

The spoilers say Holly and Sophia manage to push past their differences. And honestly? If Holly falls for this, she deserves whatever chaos is coming her way. Because Sophia Choi forgiving anyone right now is about as believable as EJ DiMera throwing a charity bake sale.

This is the same Sophia who has been pretending to be mute and catatonic for weeks while secretly scheming with Rachel Black behind closed doors. The same Sophia who manipulated Rachel into stealing cash from Brady’s wallet to buy a burner phone. The same Sophia who has been plotting revenge against literally everyone who wronged her.

But sure, Holly. Sophia totally forgives you now. Nothing suspicious about that at all.

Sophia Choi Has Been Playing the Long Game

Let’s review Sophia’s greatest hits since she arrived at Bayview. She faked being catatonic so convincingly that doctors believed she couldn’t speak or respond to anyone. She secretly befriended Rachel and started manipulating her into doing her bidding. She convinced Rachel to pose as her during bed checks so she could sneak around the facility. She got Rachel to steal money and procure a burner phone.

When Rachel’s cover story fell apart and the doctor asked for proof that Sophia had been communicating with her, Rachel panicked and said she ate the notes. TWICE. That’s how deep Sophia has Rachel wrapped around her finger.

And now we’re supposed to believe that Sophia Choi has genuinely forgiven Holly Jonas for whatever happened between them? The girl who tried to physically attack Holly during a hospital visit? Please.

Sophia isn’t forgiving Holly. Sophia is positioning Holly as the next target in her revenge scheme. And Holly Jonas is about to walk right into it with open arms because she’s too distracted by sorority rush to see the danger.

Holly Jonas Is About to Become a Completely Different Person

Here’s where things get even messier. Holly isn’t exactly operating with her best judgment right now. She’s been pushing Ari to rush a sorority with her, and spoilers suggest Holly is about to undergo a major personality transformation. The sweet girl we knew is apparently becoming someone who thinks she’s better than everyone else.

So we have Holly Jonas, distracted by her new sorority friends and developing a superiority complex, reconciling with Sophia Choi, who has been faking a mental breakdown while plotting revenge. What could possibly go wrong?

Extended spoilers have already revealed that Holly will find herself in Sophia’s crosshairs once Sophia escapes Bayview. And we know she’s planning to escape because she’s been scheming with Rachel about next steps using that burner phone. Sophia isn’t just targeting Holly either. She has Johnny, Chanel, and Tate on her revenge list too.

This reconciliation isn’t Sophia turning over a new leaf. This is Sophia getting Holly to lower her guard before she strikes.

Run, Holly. Seriously, Just Run

Thursday’s heartwarming reconciliation scene is going to play out like two old friends finding their way back to each other. Holly may be relieved that she and Sophia have cleared the air. She might even feel good about herself for being mature enough to forgive and move forward.

And Sophia Choi will be celebrating because her plan is working.

The girl has been patient. She’s been strategic. She’s been playing everyone around her. Sophia letting Holly back into her good graces isn’t about forgiveness. It’s about access. It’s about information. It’s about whatever devastating move Sophia has planned next.

Holly Jonas should be running in the opposite direction. Instead, she’s walking straight into the spider’s web and probably bringing snacks.

Will Holly realize she’s being played before it’s too late? Sound off in the comments!
