PORTIA ROBINSON TOLD CURTIS ASHFORD SHE WOULD DO THINGS ON HER OWN TERMS AND NOW SHE HAS BIG NEWS ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

TL;DR: Curtis Ashford gave Portia Robinson a one-week deadline to take a paternity test on General Hospital or he would get a court order — and now spoilers say Portia has big news to deliver. The clock is ticking, and this announcement could change everything.

The Deadline Curtis Set Is Almost Up

Curtis Ashford walked into General Hospital last week and gave Portia Robinson an ultimatum. Take a paternity test within one week, or he would get a court order to force her.

Portia told him she would do things on her own terms and challenged him to get the order if he was not okay with that. She was furious. She was defiant. She stormed off.

And now, according to General Hospital spoilers, Portia has big news to deliver.

The timing cannot be a coincidence.

Portia Has Been Stalling for a Reason

Let us look at the facts. Portia Robinson refused to take a paternity test. She told Elizabeth that she wanted to enjoy her pregnancy without extra stress. She made it very clear she was in no rush to confirm who the father of her baby is.

But why?

If Portia is confident the baby is Isaiah’s, why not take the test and end the speculation? If she believes Curtis is the father, why not confirm it and let him be involved from the start?

The stalling suggests Portia does not know. Or worse — she knows, and the answer is going to complicate everything.

This News Could Blow Up Multiple Relationships

Consider the fallout depending on what Portia reveals.

If the baby is Curtis’s: Isaiah has said he is prepared for this possibility, but watching your girlfriend carry another man’s child is different from talking about it hypothetically. Portia and Isaiah’s new relationship could crumble before it even gets started.

If the baby is Isaiah’s: Curtis has been spiraling over the possibility that he missed out on time with another child the way he did with Trina. Finding out the baby is not his could either bring relief or devastation — or both.

If Portia refuses to say: Curtis already threatened a court order. If Portia’s “big news” is that she is not taking the test regardless, the legal battle could get ugly fast.

Trina Is Caught in the Middle

Let us not forget that Trina Robinson is watching all of this unfold. She already went through the trauma of learning Curtis was her biological father when Portia had hidden it for years. Now her mother is pregnant again, possibly by the man Trina thought was her father, while dating someone else entirely.

Whatever news Portia delivers, Trina is going to have feelings about it. And given that Trina is already dealing with the Willow and Drew situation at work, adding more family drama to her plate could push her to a breaking point.

Portia’s History Suggests the News Will Be Complicated

Portia Robinson has a pattern. She kept the truth about Trina’s paternity hidden for over two decades. She married Curtis while pregnant with a baby that might not be his. She exposed her own pregnancy in court when it was strategically useful.

This is not a woman who delivers simple news. Whatever Portia is about to announce, it will have layers. It will have consequences. And it will probably make Curtis wish he had never issued that ultimatum.

The clock is ticking. The deadline is approaching. And Port Charles is about to find out what Portia Robinson has been hiding.
