LUCY COE SHOWED UP AT SONNY’S DOOR ASKING HIM TO DESTROY JENZ SIDWELL ON GH

TL;DR: Lucy Coe got humiliated by Jenz Sidwell on General Hospital and ran straight to Sonny Corinthos asking him to “clean Sidwell’s clock.” She thinks this is about revenge for a love triangle. She has no idea Sonny already wants Sidwell dead for entirely different reasons.

Lucy Coe Came in Hot

Lucy Coe did not even knock. She showed up at Sonny’s place on General Hospital and announced that she wanted him to “clean Sidwell’s clock.”

Let us back up.

Lucy went to Wyndemere with a picnic basket like a woman in love. She found Jenz Sidwell cozy on the couch with Ava Jerome, in the middle of an online art auction. Lucy sat through their little moment, exchanged barbs with Ava about husbands and criminal records and who has been circling Sidwell longer, and then gave Jenz an ultimatum: choose between them.

Sidwell said he does not take ultimatums from anyone. Not even women he cares about.

Lucy Coe grabbed her coat and walked out. She did not even take her picnic basket.

And now she is standing in Sonny Corinthos’s living room asking him to destroy the man who humiliated her.

She Has No Idea What Sidwell Actually Is

Here is what Lucy Coe does not know.

Jenz Sidwell is not some billionaire art collector who broke her heart. He is a murderer. He killed Dalton right in front of Britt Westbourne. He is partnered with WSB Director Ross Cullum, who has been pulling strings to keep Anna Devane locked in a French mental institution. Sidwell and Cullum are the ones who faked Britt’s death and have been holding her medication hostage to force her to complete Faison’s final project.

Sonny already knows all of this. Jason told him everything. They have been waiting for the right moment to move on Cullum and Sidwell — they cannot act yet because Cullum controls Britt’s medication and killing him too soon could kill her.

Lucy walked into that living room thinking she was asking Sonny for a personal favor. She has no idea she is handing him exactly what he needs: a reason to move faster.

Sonny Was Already Planning This

Sonny and Jason had a conversation about taking out Cullum. Jason said they needed to wait until Brick could reverse-engineer Britt’s medication. Sonny agreed — reluctantly — but made it clear he was not going to wait forever.

Now Lucy Coe is standing in his living room with a personal vendetta against Sidwell. She is emotional. She is scorned. She is ready to talk.

Does Lucy know about Sidwell’s connection to the WSB? Does she know about the catacombs under Wyndemere? Does she know about Pascal appearing through hidden passages? Does she know about the Faison novel and cigarillos that Josslyn found during the blizzard?

Lucy Coe spent a year circling that man. She has been inside Wyndemere more times than anyone in Port Charles. She might know things she does not even realize she knows.

And Sonny is very good at asking questions.

Ava Jerome Should Be Worried

Ava won this round. She got to stay on that couch while Lucy stormed out. She got Sidwell’s attention. She got to watch her rival leave mid-pedicure earlier that same day.

But Ava does not know what Lucy Coe is doing right now. She does not know that Lucy is sitting with Sonny Corinthos, spilling everything she knows about the man Ava is getting cozy with.

If Sonny moves on Sidwell, Ava is going to be standing right next to him when the walls come down. And nobody is going to warn her.
