DAYS Spoilers: Leo Stark Makes a Reckless Move By Joining Team Dimitri and Agreeing to Head to Almainia
Leo Stark and Dimitri head to Alamainia for answers on Days of Our Lives, but Ivan is waiting and he’s not exactly thrilled to see them.

TL;DR: Leo Stark and Dimitri team up and travel to Alamainia searching for answers on Days of Our Lives, only to walk straight into a hostile reception from Vivian Alamain’s loyal manservant Ivan. Their forbidden feelings threaten to derail the whole mission before it even starts.
Two Heads Are Better Than One… Unless Both Are Idiots
Someone needs to explain to Leo Stark why voluntarily traveling to the stronghold of a woman whose family motto is essentially “betray first, ask questions never” qualifies as a terrible idea. But here we are. Monday’s Days of Our Lives kicked off a week-long slow march toward what can only be described as a spectacularly ill-advised road trip, as Leo Stark and Dimitri decide to work together. On the surface, this makes sense. They both want answers. They both have skin in the game. And they’ve both proven themselves capable of occasionally functioning like semi-competent adults.
The problem? These two can barely be in the same room without their unresolved feelings turning every conversation into an emotional minefield. Leo Stark has been openly struggling with his attraction to Dimitri ever since his ex crashed back into Salem and blew up his marriage to Javi. Dimitri von Leuschner hasn’t exactly been subtle about wanting Leo back, either. So naturally, the writers thought the smartest possible move was to send them on an international adventure together. Alone. With nobody around to remind Leo that he’s technically still married.
By Thursday, Leo Stark and Dimitri put their plan into motion, which means they’ve spent three solid days convincing themselves this partnership is strictly professional. Sure it is. When Leo won’t even let Dimitri SIT on his bed because he’ afraid he might join him there.

Ivan Is Back and He’s Not Here to Serve Appetizers
Friday’s episode is where things get truly spicy. Leo and Dimitri arrive in Alamainia and immediately receive what the spoilers delicately call “a not-so-warm welcome.” That’s soap speak for “they’re about to have a very bad day.”
The welcoming committee? Ivan. Vivian Alamain’s legendarily devoted manservant is back, played once again by Ivan G’Vera, and the man is described as “anxious to tie up loose ends.” In the world of Days of Our Lives, “tying up loose ends” is rarely a euphemism for organizing a filing cabinet. Ivan has spent decades doing Vivian’s bidding with the kind of blind loyalty that borders on performance art, and whatever he’s protecting in Alamainia, he clearly doesn’t want Leo Stark or Dimitri anywhere near it.
Here’s what makes this fascinating. Rafe and Eli already traveled to Alamainia earlier this month to question Vivian about the DiMera kidnappings, and Vivian spun them a story that may or may not have contained a single grain of truth. Dimitri’s fingerprints were all over her house, which got him arrested. Now that Dimitri von Leuschner is apparently free enough to travel internationally (with an ankle bracelet on?) he and Leo are going back to the scene of the crime looking for answers that Vivian clearly doesn’t want found.
The real question is whether Leo and Dimitri can survive Ivan, survive Alamainia, and survive being alone together without completely imploding. Given their track record, the smart money is on “absolutely not.” But poor Javi! He just texted Leo to say he didn’t want to hear from him again as long as he was still undecided. And we don’t think Leo will be texting him again anytime soon. Which is exactly why we’ll be watching.
