GH BOMBSHELL! Jordan Ashford’s Pregnancy Secret Did Not Survive a Housewarming Visit and a Trip to the Nail Salon

TL;DR: Jordan Ashford has been hiding a pregnancy test in her purse and a secret from everyone she loves on General Hospital, and on Friday, March 13, both secrets walked right out the door. Stella Henry found the test. Portia Robinson figured it out at a nail salon. Nobody in Port Charles can keep anything to themselves for longer than forty minutes.

The Secret Is Out Before Jordan Even Decided to Tell It

Jordan Ashford has been carrying this secret around literally in her purse for weeks now, and if today proved anything, it is that a pregnancy test is not a subtle thing to leave in a bag when Stella Henry is anywhere in the vicinity.

Stella stopped by Jordan’s place with a housewarming gift and got a surprise of her own when Curtis Ashford answered the door. Curtis moving in with Jordan is already a development Stella has opinions about. She pulled him aside and told him plainly that he was moving too fast, that his ex-wife was pregnant, and that grief needed more than a forwarding address to process itself.

Then she went looking for a pen. Found the pregnancy test instead.

Meanwhile across town, Portia Robinson and Trina Robinson walked into the nail salon and found Jordan and Justine Turner already there. Jordan made it about thirty seconds before she had to rush to the bathroom, and Portia is a doctor. She did the math. Fast.

“You have got to be kidding me. You’re pregnant?!”

No, Portia. She is not kidding.

The Question Nobody Is Asking Out Loud Yet

Here is where this gets genuinely complicated. Curtis just moved in with Jordan. He signed the house over to Portia. He told Jordan that letting her go was the biggest mistake of his life. Everything about the way he has been moving suggests a man who has made his choice and is not looking back.

And now Jordan is pregnant.

The show has not confirmed who the father is. What the show has confirmed is that Jordan has been hiding this, that she had the test in her bag while Curtis was standing right there asking about her lab work, and that she told him everything was fine. It was not fine. It is increasingly less fine by the hour.

If this baby is Curtis’s, the fallout with Portia, who is also pregnant and has spent months navigating her own paternity drama, will be catastrophic. If this baby is not Curtis’s, Jordan has been hiding a pregnancy from a man who just committed his life to her all over again, and that conversation is not going to go smoothly either.

Port Charles Has Never Met a Secret It Could Keep

Stella Henry now knows. Portia Robinson now knows. Justine Turner was sitting right there. Trina is going to find out, and Trina’s feelings about Jordan and her father are not a mystery to anyone who has watched the last several months of this show.

Jordan has been trying to hold this together quietly, keep Curtis close, keep Portia at arm’s length, and manage a secret that was always going to get out. The nail salon did not cooperate. Stella’s housewarming visit did not cooperate. Port Charles never cooperates.

The only question now is whether Jordan gets to be the one who tells Curtis, or whether he hears it from someone else first. Based on today’s episode, the clock on that choice is basically already expired.
