The Genoa City, Wisconsin drama continues to unfold in “The Young and the Restless” as Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) senses trouble in her relationship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Nate has eyes for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) but is trying to remain faithful to Elena. Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) recently started dating Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), and their bond through their son, Dominic Newman Abbott Winters Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware), will last forever. But the return of one of Devon’s former loves, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), begs a question: will she ruin his relationship with Abby?
Elena deserves better than the turmoil in her current relationship. She wronged Devon when she left him for Nate, and now she’s facing another pairing that doesn’t feel sustainable. After the hard breakup with Devon, Elena is once again facing uncertainty. So, what will she do next?
Nate was forced out of practicing medicine because of an incident with his cousin that shattered his hand and ended his career as a surgeon. Devon believes that Nate has been retaliating against him ever since, but he’s also complicit in the bad blood between them. Nate wants to build a new career in the business world, and Victoria offers him that opportunity in more ways than one. But Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) wants Nate for herself and keeps Elena updated on all things Nate and Victoria.
Devon values loyalty, and Abby is loyal to him. Despite her divorce from Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), Abby and Devon’s relationship has been a long time coming. It’s unlikely that Devon will leave Abby and go back to Elena. The two share something that he and Elena do not: a child. However, good soap is all about drama, and fans will keep watching to see what happens next in “The Young and the Restless.”
In the meantime, Amanda’s return to Genoa City has sparked something in Devon. Her legal assistance was needed for arbitration that might be moot, but her exchanges with Devon make her return trip worthwhile. Will Devon’s attraction to Amanda threaten his relationship with Abby, or will he remain loyal to her? Fans will have to stay tuned to find out.
