BROOK LYNN QUARTERMAINE HIRED THE QUEEN OF ADULTERY TO TAKE WILLOW DOWN

TL;DR: On General Hospital, Brook Lynn Quartermaine watched Willow walk into Alexis’s office to hug her husband over expedited adoption paperwork, deadpanned that Willow was always “right there” when she was needed, faked a crisis at Deception, and bolted to text Lucy Coe. Lucy showed up, called herself a master in the world of adultery, and signed on as Brook Lynn’s life coach. The pro homewrecker alliance is on. The student has the receipts. The teacher has forty years of resume. Willow is operating like nobody is watching. The chess match of the summer started in a coffee shop.

The Alliance That Will Save Brook Lynn’s Marriage

Bestie, sit down, because Brook Lynn Quartermaine called the most chaotic woman in Port Charles for help with the Willow Tait problem and Lucy Coe answered the phone on the first ring. On the Friday episode of General Hospital, Brook Lynn watched Willow walk into Alexis’s office to hug her husband over expedited adoption paperwork, deadpanned that Willow was always “right there” when needed, and faked a crisis at Deception so she could text Lucy and bolt. Lucy showed up, called herself a master in the world of adultery, and signed on as Brook Lynn’s life coach. The chess match of the summer started in a coffee shop.

The Adoption Meeting Was the Final Straw

Brook Lynn was at Miller & Davis with Chase and Alexis to finalize Phoebe’s closed adoption. Then Chase got the call. Willow had expedited the adoption petition with the director of social services because of course she had. Willow was on her way over with the paperwork because of course she was. Brook Lynn watched Chase’s whole face light up at Willow’s name and she had seen enough.

The Deadpan That Told Alexis Everything

Brook Lynn’s exact words to Alexis were that Willow was always “right there” when she was needed. Alexis rolled her eyes when Willow gushed about owing her freedom to Chase and Alexis both. Alexis saw it. Brook Lynn saw it. Chase did not see it. Willow knows nobody is supposed to see it. The only people clocking the strategic ingratiation campaign are the women in that office, and Brook Lynn Quartermaine is going to be the one to do something about it.

The Deception Crisis That Was a Lucy Coe Summons

Brook Lynn faked a Deception emergency and walked out the door before Willow could arrive. The fake crisis was a cover for the real one. Brook Lynn texted Lucy. Lucy showed up. Lucy is the queen of homewrecking on this show and has been since the 80s. The Alan Quartermaine years. The Tony Jones affair. The Scott Baldwin chapters. The woman has wedged herself between more marriages than the show can keep track of and she has notes.

Lucy Called Herself a Master in the World of Adultery

The line is on tape. Lucy Coe looked Brook Lynn in the eye and admitted she is a master in the world of adultery. This was not a confession. This was a resume. Lucy is offering Brook Lynn forty years of homewrecker tradecraft to use defensively against the homewrecker currently soft-launching a takeover of her marriage. Brook Lynn Quartermaine will be learning from the master.

Willow’s Strategy Is Already Showing

Willow offered Chase the chief of staff job at the Mayor’s office this week. She expedited the adoption paperwork through her social services connections. She gushed in front of Alexis about owing her freedom to him. She hugged him in front of Alexis. Every move is positioned as gratitude or efficiency, and every move puts Willow closer to a parallel life with Chase where Brook Lynn becomes the third wheel in her own marriage. Liesl already called her a viper. Nina admitted Willow is too involved. Drew is blinking SOS in Morse code.

The only person in Chase’s life not seeing it is Chase.

What Lucy Is Going to Teach Brook Lynn

Lucy’s coaching is going to be a soap opera in a coffee shop. Catch the homewrecker in the act of homewrecking. Counter every strategic ingratiation move with a more strategic one. Become the version of yourself that no woman can compete with. Lucy is going to coach Brook Lynn on outfits, dinners, conversations Chase should be having with his wife at home, and the precise moment Willow has to be put on notice.

Willow Will Not See This Coming

Willow has been operating like nobody is watching. The strategic adoption help, the unsolicited job offer, the conveniently expedited paperwork, the hugs, all of it landed under the assumption that Brook Lynn was an oblivious wife. Brook Lynn is not oblivious. Brook Lynn has Lucy now. Willow is walking into a chess board she thought was a checkerboard.

The Most Chaotic Alliance on the Show

Bestie, pour the chardonnay. Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Lucy Coe sitting in a Port Charles coffee shop plotting against a viper masquerading as a helpful friend is exactly the chaos General Hospital has been missing. The pro homewrecker alliance is on. The student has the receipts. The teacher has the resume. Willow has no idea what is coming, and Chase has no idea that the chief of staff job is the bait at the end of the trap.
