What Donna Actually Knows

Donna knows that Katie launched Logan Designs. She knows that Hope Logan is the centerpiece, not some mystery outsider. She knows that Bill Spencer is behind the machinery and that the operation has been built, at least in part, to blindside Forrester Creations and by extension, Brooke.

She also knows that Brooke has been walking around this week in genuine celebration, believing her family is on the same page for the first time in years.

When Brooke storms over to Logan demanding answers from Katie today, Donna is nowhere in the room. She is going to have to land somewhere very soon.

There Is No Safe Side

Here is what makes Donna’s position so painful: she is not caught between a villain and a hero. She is caught between two sisters who each have a legitimate claim on her loyalty.

Katie took a swing. She built something real. She brought Hope back into the industry on her own terms after Steffy Forrester made her Forrester exit feel permanent. That matters. Bill running the money does not erase what Katie has built.

But Brooke will soon discover her own daughter has been deceiving her while she threw her arms around that reunion. The woman who survived being written off more times than any character on this show deserves to hear the truth from family, not from a fashion industry press release.

But underneath all of it is a quieter story about a woman who loves two people on a collision course and has to decide in real time what kind of sister she is going to be.

She has always been easy to overlook. She is not the schemer. She shows up to react, to support, to make other people feel better about themselves.

This week, there is no easy reaction and no clean support. This is her story now too. And we cannot wait to watch it fall apart.
