SAVED BY THE BELL! GH’s ‘Cassius Faison’ Was Forced To Leave James Behind and Is Now Running to Canada
Cassius Faison ran from Cody Bell and left James West behind on General Hospital, and we think his Canadian passport is not going to save him.
CASSIUS FAISON RUNS FROM CODY BELL AND LEAVES JAMES WEST BEHIND
TL;DR: Cody Bell blocked Cassius Faison from leaving the batting cages with James West, and Cassius ran alone straight into an escape plan already in motion on General Hospital. We are betting Port Charles is not done with him yet.
Cody Steps In Before James Can Leave
Cody Bell was only supposed to be watching James West have a normal afternoon at the batting cages. Instead he became the last line of defense standing between James and the man wearing Nathan West’s face, and the latest twist has Port Charles buzzing.
Cody checked his phone and found the message that changed everything: Felicia Scorpio, asking him to keep James away from “Nathan” no matter what. Cody did not hesitate. He physically blocked James from leaving with Cassius Faison, then tried to buy time by suggesting the two of them get ice cream while he and James stayed put.
Cassius, still playing “Nathan,” told them to get the ice cream without him. He said he could not stay, even though he wished he could.

A Goodbye That Sounded Like a Confession
What came next was not a cop wrapping up a case. It was a man saying goodbye to a boy who believes he is his father.
Cassius admitted to James that he made a big mistake, one he does not think he can fix. He warned James that he would hear unpleasant things about him soon, and that most of them would be true. Then he told James he loves him. James begged him not to go. Cassius ran anyway.
James called Felicia in tears to tell her his dad was gone. When Cody got on the line, Felicia’s reaction was not confusion. It was vindication. She told him she was shocked that Anna had been right all along.
Meanwhile, across town, Cassius was not improvising. He picked up a car with Ontario plates and a Canadian passport made out to “Oliver Brown.” The exit had already been planned before Cody ever put his body between James and the door.
That is what makes this our angle: Cassius did not get caught reaching for the border. He got interrupted on his way to say goodbye, which means the clean escape he built for himself lost its head start.
We think that gap is going to matter. A man traveling as “Oliver Brown” still has to get out of Port Charles, and every hour Cody bought at the batting cages is an hour Anna Devane and the WSB did not have before. Our bet is Cassius makes it out of the city but not out of the country, and that “Oliver Brown” does not survive first contact with a border checkpoint once Anna’s suspicions officially become an active pursuit.
We also would not rule out James being the reason he gets caught. A kid who heard his “dad” admit to a mistake he cannot fix, and who was warned he’d hear true, ugly things about him, is a kid who is going to start asking Felicia and Cody very specific questions. Grief has a way of turning into information the WSB did not have yesterday.
Is He Even Cassius? Our Heads Went There Too
Here is where we let ourselves get a little wild. This man has answered to “Nathan” so long, and so convincingly, that walking away from James looked like it cost him something real.
So we are asking out loud: is the man calling himself Cassius Faison entirely sure who he is anymore? We are not predicting a twin or a buried Nathan West fighting for air, we have zero recap evidence for that. But a man who cries real tears leaving a kid behind is a man whose next move might not look like a clean villain’s exit. Our bet is the border crossing gets messier than a simple manhunt, because part of him may not want to run at all.
Do you think Cassius makes it out of the country, or does his own goodbye to James end up being the thing that brings him down?
Does He Deserve James’s Tears or Port Charles’s Manhunt?
James West sobbed for a man who spent his time on canvas lying to him about who he is. Cody Bell and Felicia Scorpio spent the same afternoon proving Anna Devane right. So which reaction is the correct one: do you mourn what James lost, or do you want to see Cassius Faison run down before he crosses the border? Head to our Facebook pageand tell us where you land.
