PAIGE HERSCHELL’S JACINDA BRACKEN EXIT WAS STORYLINE-DICTATED, NOT HER CHOICE

TL;DR: General Hospital is saying goodbye to Jacinda Bracken. Paige Herschell has exited the ABC soap after playing the character since her 2025 return, with Jacinda’s story wrapping up in dramatic fashion. Here’s everything we know.

Jacinda Bracken’s Sudden Goodbye

Paige Herschell is out at General HospitalJacinda Bracken got her walking papers this week, and per Soap Opera Digest, the show made the call, not Paige Herschell.

The trouble started when Willow Tait slapped Jacinda with a restraining order to keep her away from the kids after tensions between the two women had already been building for weeks. Jacinda didn’t take it well. She spiked Willow’s coffee with molly, a stunt that put both Willow and the children in real danger. Michael Corinthos caught it in time, but he was livid, and this time there was no talking his way back into his good graces.

Michael cut Jacinda loose for good, telling her they were over and that Port Charles wasn’t big enough for both her chaos and his kids’ safety. He even wrote her a check to help her start fresh elsewhere. Their goodbye was tearful, but final. It’s a rough way to close out a relationship that had powered a big chunk of Jacinda’s screen time, and it leaves Michael single right as his custody fight with Willow is heating up, with Willow already pushing to reopen old cases and dig up leverage of her own.ng up, with Willow already pushing to reopen old cases and dig up leverage of her own.

A Role That Grew Bigger Than Expected

Jacinda started as a one-off: a paid escort hired by Nina and Portia to drug Drew, never meant to stick around. GH brought Paige Herschell back in September 2025 to have Jacinda pose asย Rory Gibson‘s Michael’s alibi for Drew’s shooting, and the fake relationship turned real fast, powering nearly a year of storyline before Paige Herschell’s run finally came to a close.

Along the way, the pairing weathered secrets, schemes, and plenty of near-misses, which is exactly why the breakup lands as a genuine loss for fans who’d gotten invested. Now that chapter is done, and Michael’s love life is back to square one right as his custody fight with Willow is heating up.
