Days of Our Lives Spoilers August 25, 2026: Dr. Rolf’s Three Pods Blindside Salem After Lexie Carver Dies
Days of Our Lives spoilers August 25, 2026: Dr. Rolf sealed a body into a pod beside two occupied pods. Who is inside, and what Tuesday brings.
DAYS OF OUR LIVES SPOILERS: ROLF SWORE OFF PLAYING GOD, THEN TUCKED LEXIE CARVER IN BESIDE TWO MORE BODIES
TL;DR: Monday’s Days of Our Lives ended with Dr. Rolf sliding a covered body into a pod flanked by two occupied pods and calling the lot of them his friends. Nobody has been named. Tuesday stays in the grief, not the lab, and that silence is the loudest thing on the show right now.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Rolf Quits in the Parlor and Keeps Working in the Dark
Days of Our Lives spoilers for August 25, 2026 start where Monday left us: in a dim room full of pods. Dr. Rolf stood in the DiMera parlor and told EJ DiMera that his days of playing God were over. EJ had just blamed him for Lexie Carver‘s death and for costing the family billions. Then Rolf put on a surgical mask, wheeled a covered body out of the hospital, and slid it into a pod sitting between two others that were already occupied. He dimmed the lights and said goodbye to his friends, plural.
Here is what actually aired, because the internet will run wild by lunch. The body Rolf moved is presumed to be Lexie’s, though the camera never pulled the sheet back. The two flanking pods stayed sealed: no face, no hand, no label. Rolf spoke to them like old company, and that is the whole clue.
This is not a new secret, just a visible one. Back on April 23, EJ admitted to Gwen Rizczech that there were “others in more pods,” then waved it off until Rolf perfected the process on Lexie. Lexie died again on Friday, August 21, with Abe Carver and her son Theo Carver beside her, and by Monday the man who revived her in the first place was standing over her body promising to stop.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: The Names Salem Will Shout First
Abigail tops every list, and Chad DiMera got there before the fans did. He accused EJ of hiding Abigail in a pod the very week he came back to Salem this spring. Abigail died in June 2022 at Clyde Weston’s hands, and nothing on screen has walked that back. Still, this show never lets a DiMera wife stay buried quietly.
Then there is Stefan. Vivian Alamain claims he died in her custody, and the paperwork she produced arrived suspiciously late. Stefan and Jake were twins, so a DNA match proves less than Vivian wants. Gabi Hernandez is still counting on his inheritance, which means the writers still need him to matter.
Sophia Choi belongs on the list too. Kristen DiMera had her thrown into the Salem River on May 1, and the search was called off without a body. A pod is a very DiMera place for a missing teenager to turn up. And do not forget Kristen herself, stuffed into a shipping container July 30 and “voluntarily” gone ever since. Steve Johnson said out loud on Monday that her exit smells wrong.
Who is in the pods on Days of Our Lives?
Nobody knows yet, and anyone claiming a name is guessing. The show has confirmed exactly two things: EJ said there are others, and Rolf addressed them as friends. That is the entire public record.
Here is the tell most coverage skipped. Rolf’s line was “Goodbye, my friends,” not “my friend.” The writers chose the plural in the same episode as the retirement speech, and this show does not waste a plural. EJ once told Gwen the pod project could make billions, and on Monday he cursed Rolf for costing him billions. Whatever is in those pods was supposed to pay for itself, and that ledger runs through Gwen’s financing, the Dimitri money grab, and EJ’s war on Titan.
One more breadcrumb. This show tapes about ten months ahead, and it has already announced Sofia Mattsson arriving in an undisclosed role early next year. I will not put a name on a pod because of a press release. But if I know these writers, a reveal taped this fall and streamed in early 2027 fits the calendar like a glove.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What Tuesday, August 25 Actually Brings
Tuesday stays out of the lab. Julie questions Chad’s plans, Gabi gives Javi hard advice about Leo, and Philip Kiriakis makes Xander a pitch.
Wednesday puts Cat Greene and EJ head to head while Roman helps Abe honor Lexie. Thursday, Holly confronts EJ, Ari overhears something she should not, and EJ quizzes Chad about Stefano’s chessboard. Reading between the lines, EJ asking about his dead father’s chessboard days after sealing a pod room is no accident.
The bigger question is whether Rolf’s retirement is real. Don’t be surprised if it lasts exactly as long as EJ’s grief. Kristen is off the board and Chad is already suspicious. The next person who wanders into that basement rewrites the whole year.
Abigail, Stefan, Sophia, or someone nobody has guessed. Leave your name in the comments and we will keep score when the lids come up.

Rolf Retired From Playing God for About Six Hours
My gut says the retirement speech was for EJ’s benefit only. A man who is done with the work does not say goodnight to it. Rolf kept those two pods through Stefano’s memorial and Lexie’s whole decline. He is not walking away now.
Pick your side. Either Abigail comes home and Chad finally gets the win he was denied, or Stefan sits up and Gabi’s inheritance turns into a very awkward reunion. I lean Stefan, because Vivian’s paperwork was too sloppy to be anything but a setup. Argue with me on our Facebook page.
