A Three-Decade Journey Back to Daytime

The role marks Ballard’s first daytime credit in about thirty years. He broke in playing Frankie Hubbard on Loving in 1993 before later becoming a familiar primetime face as the Quizmaster on Sabrina the Teenage Witch and FBI agent David Sinclair on Numb3rs.

Reflecting on that soap break, Ballard credited his onscreen mother with teaching him the ropes, calling her “one of the greatest actors I’ve ever seen lace up her boots.”
