The Bold and the Beautiful
CONFIRMED! B&B’s Steffy Forrester Is Pregnant — But Whose Baby Is It Really?
Steffy Forrester finally takes the pregnancy test on B&B, and the truth about who fathered this baby will be impossible to hide forever.
WILL STEFFY FORRESTER WAIT FOR DNA PROOF BEFORE TELLING CARTER WALTON OR FINN THE TRUTH?
Steffy Forrester finally takes the pregnancy test she has been avoiding, and now that it’s confirmed on The Bold and the Beautiful, the real question is how long she can keep the father a secret.
The Test Under The Arugula
Steffy Forrester walks into the Cliff House with grocery bags full of kale and greens, and buried underneath all that produce is the one item she never wanted Finn to see. The second he steps away for a work call, she digs the pregnancy test out from under the arugula and hides it the moment he comes back. Finn has no clue what he nearly walked in on, and instead spends the next few minutes gushing about how thankful he is that Steffy forgave him for Sheila, insisting Monaco only proved their marriage could survive anything with zero lasting consequences.
The irony does not get much thicker than that. He kisses her, walks out, and Steffy immediately pulls the test back out, pacing and insisting to herself that she cannot possibly be pregnant. When the timer goes off, she reads the result and gasps out loud: she is pregnant. After two straight days of nausea and near-collapses, the secret finally has a name, and it is exactly the one she has been dreading since Monaco.

A Secret That Cannot Stay Hidden Forever
Here is the part Steffy Forrester cannot spin, wish away, or blame on food poisoning: once this baby is born, the paternity question will not need a lab to answer it. Carter Walton is a Black man and Finn is white, which means a baby’s appearance alone could confirm exactly what Steffy has spent weeks hiding from her husband. This is not a storyline where a paternity reveal can be quietly buried in a filing cabinet somewhere. It is a truth with a due date, whether Steffy is ready to face it or not.
That reality puts Steffy in an impossible position. Confess now, before she even knows for certain whose baby this is, and she risks blowing up two marriages over a coin flip. Stay silent, and she is buying time on a secret that has an expiration date built directly into her own body. Either way, the clock on this one is not going to stop ticking simply because she wants it to.
Could She Really Wait For A DNA Test?
Here is the wild theory that actually makes a strange kind of sense: what if Steffy Forrester does not confess to anyone right away, and instead waits until she can quietly get a fetal DNA test to find out whose baby this really is? Non-invasive prenatal paternity testing is a real option once a pregnancy reaches a certain point, and for a woman with this much to lose, waiting for actual proof before detonating two marriages sounds less like cowardice and more like self-preservation.
It would also be very on-brand for daytime television. Why confess to Finn and shatter his “we survived Sheila” glow if there is a real chance this baby is his all along? Even outside chatter has already started debating whether The Bold and the Beautiful will let Steffy sit on this secret for months rather than weeks, and honestly, a quiet DNA test before any confession would be the smartest move Steffy has made since Monaco.
Carter Has No Idea How Close This Secret Has Gotten
While Steffy Forrester processes the biggest news of her life alone in a bathroom, Carter is across town getting distracted by thoughts of her in the middle of a work conversation with Ridge. Ridge has to call his name twice to snap him out of it, assuming he is daydreaming about “some beautiful woman” without realizing exactly how right he is. Carter tells Ridge that Finn has been a genuinely good guy through all of this, unaware Finn’s kindness is about to collide head-on with a secret that could end both of their marriages. Ridge, completely in the dark, assures Carter that a child is coming for him and Daphne, calls him “brother,” and tells him he loves him, never imagining how literally that reassurance might apply.
