Days of Our Lives spoilers September 11 2026 put five conversations on the board, and four of them happen behind EJ DiMera‘s back. He calls home from Italy and hands Rita Lesley a fresh errand, still convinced she is the one person in Salem who does exactly what he says. She is not. Rita lifted Stefano’s phoenix ring off his coffee table on September 4 and posted it to a man EJ has never met.

The part that should worry him more is happening in the next scene. Cat Greene spends Friday telling Rafe Hernandez that EJ sounded off on their last call, as though he had stopped trusting her. Rafe is not especially sympathetic. He warned her months ago not to get close to EJ, and he is far from thrilled that she brought up the ISA at all.

Two assistants, one boss, and neither of them is really his. That is a lot of exposure for a man who spent the year buying up leverage, and you can watch how quickly his grip on Salem has loosened by reading back through the last few weeks of DOOL coverage. EJ is abroad chasing his father’s ghost while the two people who fetch and carry for him quietly change hands.

Gwen Rizczech has plenty to unload and Leo Stark is happy to sit there and take all of it. The subject is EJ, and her stated position is grim: she is staying attached to him to avoid being killed and to hang on to her money. Their friendship only healed on screen last month, so this is the first proper venting session since. Anyone following the ring thread will recognize the pattern from our earlier look at Stefano’s ring and Rita Lesley, where the people standing closest to EJ turned out to be the least loyal.

Then Leo goes looking for Cat and tells her he has something she may want. Read those two beats in order. Gwen pours out her grievance to the one friend she trusts completely, and that friend walks it straight over to the woman running an operation against the man she is complaining about.

The Kiriakis half of Friday is quieter and it hurts a good deal more. Xander Kiriakis sits down with Maggie Kiriakis and admits how hard it has been watching Sarah Horton move into Brady Black‘s house with their daughter. The mansion is gone, Maggie is packing up too, and Xander tells her he feels he let his father down. She gives him a pep talk, because that is what she does.

Reading between the lines, this scene has a second floor that nobody standing in it has climbed to. EJ called the Titan loan, which is what forced the sale, and Xander already believes EJ is behind the Coriseal mess. Maggie has heard the same accusation from her own granddaughter and warned that men like EJ keep score. Do not be surprised if that pep talk turns into something a great deal sharper before the month is out.
