Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Philip Kiriakis Wins Monte Carlo as Dante Vitali Exposes the Trap
Days of Our Lives spoilers Philip Kiriakis: he won the Monte Carlo hand, told Gabi it was not enough, and Dante Vitali knew why all along.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES SPOILERS: PHILIP KIRIAKIS WON THE HAND AND THE HOUSE WAS ALREADY GONE
TL;DR: Days of Our Lives spoilers: Philip beat Dante Vitali with a straight flush on Monday and told Gabi it was not enough. Then Dante reported the whole night to a man wearing Stefano’s ring, and the DiMeras pulled a 1992 photograph out of a chess set in Rome while that same man watched them do it.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: The Only Man at That Table Who Was Not Gambling
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Philip Kiriakis should have been a victory lap. He went all in against Dante Vitali on Monday, turned over a straight flush against four of a kind, and won the pot with Gabi Hernandez kissing him in front of the whole room. Then he counted it and told her it was not enough to save Titan. Nobody at the table said a word about why.
Dante did, later, to a man wearing Stefano’s ring. It went as planned, he said. He never even had to bust the cheat, because Gabi caught Otto’s marked aces and did it for him, and without Otto’s chips in the pot there was never going to be enough money to pay off the loan. Then he signed off with two words. Well played, Dom.
Read that back slowly. Gabi’s sharpest moment of the night is the move that guaranteed Philip could not win big enough. Sydney DiMera was sitting on a stake Dante bought her. Philip was playing for a house whose paperwork was signed on Friday. The full run-up to that table is in this week’s DOOL coverage.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: The DiMeras Found That Photograph on Camera
Across the water, Belle Black and Chad DiMera found Dominic Marino‘s door unlocked and walked into a room built like a shrine. A chess set identical to the one Stefano DiMera left for Marlena Evans. His cognac. His records. Cuban cigars that stopped being made years ago, which EJ DiMera recognised the second he walked in behind them, unannounced.
Belle spotted the hidden panel because her mother’s set has one too, and Chad opened it himself. Inside was an old photograph of Stefano holding a small blonde boy, with 1992 written on the back. EJ asked out loud whether the boy could be Marino. Nobody answered him, and the whole time, the man wearing Stefano’s ring was watching all three of them on a screen. The week we first met Sami Brady’s fiance at the card table, nobody knew he had a boss.
Did Philip Kiriakis Save Titan and the Kiriakis Mansion?
No. He won the final hand and said himself that the money falls short, and Rita Lesley had already told EJ on Friday that Marino signed for the mansion. The show has not put a number on the pot and neither will we. What it has put on screen is Dante’s own account that the night was built so the pile could never be big enough, which is worse than losing outright.
Here is the part nobody else has put next to that photograph. In 1992, as far as Salem knew, Stefano was dead. He was presumed killed when a pyramid came down in Mexico at the end of 1991, and he did not walk back into town until 1993. So a picture of him holding a child, dated that year, is not just a question about the boy. It is proof he was alive, free and smiling for a camera during the exact stretch the whole town was mourning him.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tuesday’s Champagne Is Going to Age Badly
Tuesday has Gabi and Philip celebrating, and the circulating read is that neither of them has worked out they were set up. Watch that scene knowing what Dante said. Watch it knowing Belle noticed the Rome chess set still has all its pawns, when the one in her mother’s house is missing the piece that stood for John Black. Somebody assembled that room to be found.
By Friday, EJ is pressing Rita for everything she knows about Marino, and Belle is handing Marlena a new clue. Marlena is also due to point out that Marino means of the sea, and so does DiMera. Could this mean the man Dante calls Dom and the billionaire with cameras in his hallway are one and the same? The show has not said so, and it is practically daring us to. Don’t be surprised if the boy in that photograph turns out to be a child nobody in Salem knew Stefano had, and if I know these writers, the fight over who his mother is starts long before the show tells us.
Who is the boy in the 1992 photograph? Put your name in the comments and we will keep score.

Philip Kiriakis Was Never Playing Against Dante Vitali
Here is our take. Philip did everything right and it did not matter, because the man running that room decided the ending before the first card hit the felt. The cruelty is in the design: let him win, let Gabi be brilliant, and send them home with a pot that looks like a rescue and is actually a receipt.
So pick your side. Either Philip figures out in time that the house he was gambling for already belongs to a man who watched him lose it, or he pours the champagne on Tuesday and finds out the hard way. We know which way we are leaning, so come and argue with us on our Facebook page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Dom on Days of Our Lives?
Nobody knows yet, and that is on purpose. Dom is the name Dante Vitali used when he reported the Monte Carlo result to a man wearing Stefano DiMera’s ring. The show has never shown that man’s face, never named him on screen, and has not announced an actor. Everything beyond the name is speculation for now.
What is the 1992 photograph in Dominic Marino’s chess set?
It is a photograph of Stefano DiMera holding a young blonde boy, with the year 1992 written on the back, found by Chad DiMera in a hidden panel of a chess set identical to the one Stefano willed to Marlena. EJ DiMera asked out loud whether the boy could be Marino. Nobody on screen answered him.
Do Philip and Gabi know they were set up on Days of Our Lives?
Not as of Monday’s episode. Dante Vitali made his report after they had left the table, and the spoiler for Tuesday has the two of them celebrating. Philip does know the winnings fell short of what Titan needs, because he said so to Gabi, but neither of them has any idea why the pot came up small.
