GH’s Brook Lynn Quartermaine Is About to Lose Her Daughter — Just Not to the Person She’s Divorcing
GH’s Brook Lynn Quartermaine could lose custody of Phoebe entirely to a man with a far stronger biological claim than Chase ever had.
TRACY QUARTERMAINE IS SECRETLY ROOTING FOR THIS DIVORCE, AND HUDSON PARKER IS ALREADY WATCHING CHASE’S EVERY MOVE
Brook Lynn Quartermaine thinks she’s fighting for her marriage, but Tracy Quartermaine is quietly working the other side, and a man with a bigger claim to Phoebe than either parent realizes is circling closer than anyone knows. On General Hospital, saving this family might mean starting a war on three fronts.
A Marriage On Life Support, And A Lawyer Already On Call
Chase all but confirmed he was ready to divorce Brook Lynn, telling Alexis Davis he was worried the split could cost him time with Phoebe. Alexis reassured him that the finalized adoption meant a normal custody arrangement either way, but she still pushed him toward a new lawyer and a preliminary agreement, “the sooner the better.” That’s not the language of two people trying to keep a family together. That’s the language of a woman preparing her client to fight, and Chase didn’t argue with her.
On the other side of the Metro Court Gardens, Tracy Quartermaine told her granddaughter Brook Lynn Quartermaineshe supported saving the marriage, and Brook Lynn believed every word of it. What Brook Lynn doesn’t know is that Tracy is hiding a completely different agenda, one built around getting Chase and Brook Lynn divorced for good instead. Two women are steering two spouses toward the exact same lawyer’s office right now, and only one of them is being honest about why she’s doing it.

The Ammunition Chase Already Has In His Pocket
Brook Lynn Quartermaine spent weeks hiding that she was the second driver in Curtis Ashford and Jordan Ashford‘s accident, then let that lie balloon into framing Willow Tait for something she never even did. Chase already knows all of it, and Ned Quartermaine even asked his son-in-law point blank whether he’s angrier that Brook Lynn lied, or angrier about who she happened to frame in the process. That’s not a question a man asks unless he’s already building a case in his own head.
A drunk-driving cover-up and an innocent woman framed for it is exactly the kind of paper trail a family court judge takes seriously, and Chase wouldn’t need to invent a single detail to use it against her. If this divorce turns into a custody fight, Brook Lynn Quartermaine handed her husband the evidence herself, wrapped in a bow, months before he ever had to go looking for it in the first place.
Willow Tait Already Paid For This Lie Once
Willow Tait spent this entire news cycle absorbing blame for a wreck she never caused, and there’s no telling how she reacts once she realizes Brook Lynn’s marriage could collapse under the weight of that very same lie. Willow has every reason to make sure Chase has all the facts sitting in front of him before this divorce goes any further than a few angry conversations at the gatehouse.
None of that helps Brook Lynn’s case, and it definitely doesn’t help Phoebe, who’s far too little to understand why three grown adults and one furious former best friend are suddenly circling her nursery with agendas of their own making. Whatever Chase decides next, Willow’s one more person in this story with a reason to make sure he decides it with open eyes.
The Man Watching From The Shadows Has A Bigger Claim Than Either Of Them
While Chase and Brook Lynn tear each other apart over who’s the worse parent, Hudson Parker has spent his days circling the family from a comfortable distance, spotted watching Chase leave the Quartermaine gatehouse and quietly reporting back to a mystery partner about how well his plans are coming along. Hudson isn’t some random hire Josslyn Jacks happened to bring into JJE. He’s Phoebe’s biological father, and he’s already positioned himself inside this family’s orbit before anyone realized what he actually is.
A custody war between two exhausted, wounded parents is the perfect moment for a third party to make his move, and Hudson has had a front-row seat to every ugly detail of it. If Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine spend the next few weeks trying to prove the other one unfit, they might both look up to find neither of them is even in the fight that matters most anymore.
Nobody In This Triangle Is Playing Fair
Tracy is lying to Brook Lynn’s face, Chase is quietly lawyering up, and Hudson Parker is watching all of it unfold from right outside the frame with a claim nobody else in this triangle can match. On General Hospital, nobody circling Phoebe right now is actually playing fair.

The Baby Everyone’s Fighting Over Deserves Better Than This
Chase wants a formal separation, Tracy wants a divorce she won’t admit to, and Hudson Parker wants a daughter he hasn’t claimed yet, and Phoebe is too little to know any of them are circling. Tell us on our Facebook page if you think Hudson makes his move before this divorce is even final.
