VICTORIA NEWMAN AND KYLE ABBOTT CANNOT QUIT EACH OTHER

TL;DR: Victoria Newman and Kyle Abbott meet up again at the Riverbank Motel and agree this is far from over. Billy Abbott and Sally Spectra burn a pizza while testing their domestic skills, Nate Hastings and Dr. Stephanie Simmons take their romance to a whole new level, and Claire Newman nearly catches her sister’s secret.

Victoria Newman and Kyle Abbott Cannot Quit Each Other

Kyle Abbott shows up at the Riverbank Motel to find the lights off and Victoria Newman already calling the shots, ordering him to face the wall and stay quiet. She blindfolds him, tears off his shirt, and makes it very clear he is not allowed to touch.

Ice cubes, kissing, and one very impatient Kyle later, he pulls off the blindfold and takes over completely. Afterward he cracks that so much for last time being the last time, and neither of them has any interest in stopping this arrangement.

Victoria Newman insists they need to lay out exactly what this is, like some kind of verbal contract, and Kyle Abbott half-jokes his way through the terms before diving right back in. Once they finish, she wonders out loud if anyone will ever figure out what they are doing, and they agree to keep sneaking around at the motel and leaving separately every time.

Billy Abbott and Sally Spectra Attempt Dinner and Fail Spectacularly

At home, Sally Spectra laughs at a flour-covered Billy Abbott, who is determined to bake her a peanut butter and sauerkraut pizza despite clearly being out of his depth. He needs her help with the dough since she used to bake, and things quickly turn playful once honey gets involved.

One kiss leads to another, and the two abandon the kitchen entirely for the bedroom, completely forgetting the pizza still sitting in the oven. By the time they resurface, dinner is burned beyond saving, so they call for delivery and settle in with a book instead.

At Nate’s place, Nate Hastings invites Dr. Stephanie Simmons over for board games and take-out since his bandaged hand rules out cooking. The two bond over guacamole, a surprise confession about a childhood pet, and a slow dance that turns into something much more serious by the end of the night.

Esther Valentine and Claire Newman Almost Catch On

Back at Crimson Lights, Esther Valentine tops off Kyle’s drink and assumes his sudden glow is thanks to Claire, not realizing how far off she is. Kyle shuts down the idea he and Claire are back together, then texts Victoria that he is calling the shots next time, a line straight out of the current Young and the Restless spoilers cycle nobody outside that motel room would understand.

At the Tack House, Claire Newman catches her sister Victoria Newman blushing at her phone and gets brushed off with a claim about a funny GIF. Claire has no idea how close she comes to blowing Victoria and Kyle Abbott’s whole secret wide open, and neither does anyone else covering this stretch of the story yet.
