Charlotte Cassadine had a plan, and like most Port Charles teenager plans, it involved breaking into someone’s car. Danny Morgan waited for her at the Quartermaine stables like they’d arranged, except Charlotte never showed, because she was busy pulling off her scheme solo at the Metro Court. While the valet attendant went to fetch another car, she let herself into Drew Cain‘s SUV, propped her phone up to film the interior, and folded herself onto the floor of the front seat to wait.

Flashbacks filled in the rest: back at the stables, Charlotte had pitched Danny on the kind of plan that only makes sense to a teenager who’s never watched a single soap opera in her life — catch Drew in a compromising position with her in his car, snap some blackmail photos, and force him to let Danny see Scout. Danny, showing considerably more foresight than his co-conspirator, begged her not to do it, arguing it could put her in genuine danger. Charlotte apparently filed that under “noted, ignored.”

Meanwhile, Danny grew increasingly panicked when he couldn’t reach her, called the Aurora offices to confirm Drew really was tied up in a meeting, then bolted out the door — presumably realizing exactly what she was actually doing. Back in the Metro Court parking lot, Charlotte unzipped her hoodie for maximum framing purposes, and just as she got herself arranged for the cameras that don’t actually exist, an unseen hand yanked the car door open. She gasped. We gasped. Somewhere, a family therapist wept quietly into their notes.

Drew Cain Sells Jordan Ashford a Redemption Arc She’s Not Buying

Over at the General Hospital canvas’s favorite restaurant, Jordan Ashford sat down with Drew, who opened with an apology for everything Brook Lynn’s role in the car accident had put her through. Jordan wasn’t interested in payback, but she was very interested in whether the Quartermaine name might grease the wheels toward getting Curtis out early. Drew doubted it — Brook Lynn isn’t facing real legal consequences, so where’s the incentive — but claimed he’d personally been pulling strings to speed up Curtis’s release, insisting his time locked up had inspired a whole new leaf-turning era for him.

Jordan, understandably skeptical of a man whose personality transplant seems to happen exactly when it’s convenient, questioned his motives out loud. Drew doubled down on the reformed-man routine, and Jordan, ever the professional, thanked him for the sentiment to his face — then shook her head the second his back was turned. Smart woman.

Lulu Spencer and Valentin Cassadine Fight About Whose Fault Charlotte Is

Also dining at the Gardens, Lulu Spencer lit into Valentin Cassadine for keeping quiet about Charlotte and Danny’s joyride in Chase’s stolen truck. She argued the two of them clearly need less unsupervised bonding time, not more, given their combined track record for property damage. Valentin, never one to concede a point cleanly, admitted both teens have a reckless streak but insisted Danny’s actually been good for Charlotte and he wasn’t about to engineer a breakup of the friendship.

Lulu wasn’t having it, informing Valentin that he’s been so busy auditioning for Cool Dad of the Year that actual parenting fell off his to-do list, and she hoped Charlotte wouldn’t be the one paying for it. Given what was happening to Charlotte in a parking lot roughly a block away at that exact moment, Lulu’s timing was, unfortunately, impeccable.

Willow Tait Keeps Drew’s Threat To Herself While Nina Reeves Gets Hauled Off

At Willow’s office, Ric Lansing delivered the news Willow Tait had been dreading: the WSB took Nina Reeves into custody and extradited her to Steinmauer over Jack’s disappearance. Ric asked, point blank, whether Willow was hiding anything involving Brennan that might explain why Nina would be framed — and Willow, keeping her cards firmly against her chest, insisted her relationship with Jack had been strictly professional.

Learning Jack’s wallet had turned up in Nina’s car, Willow declared her mother had obviously been set up. When Ric pushed for a name, Willow flashed back to Drew’s very unsubtle threat against her — the one where he informed Nina her daughter was next — but said absolutely nothing about it out loud. Instead, she put Ric on retainer for Nina’s release and vowed to use her Congressional pull to bring her mother home, which is one way to avoid answering the actual question.

Elizabeth Baldwin Talks Dante Falconeri Down From a WSB-Fueled Rage Spiral

At the police station, Elizabeth Baldwin walked in on Dante Falconeri mid-shout at one of William Baines‘s WSB agents over the PCPD’s evidence locker rights. Liz pulled him into an interrogation room before things escalated into an actual incident report, where Dante finally admitted the outburst wasn’t really about Jack’s wallet — it was about what the bureau had done to Anna and his own helplessness to stop it. Elizabeth gently reminded him he can’t singlehandedly fix everyone’s problems and offered him a much healthier outlet than yelling at federal agents.

Molly Lansing-Davis’s Romance Radar Goes Off Twice In One Day, And She Only Likes One Result

At Aurora Wellness, Molly Lansing-Davis ran into new roommates Joe Fitzpatrick and a visibly rough-around-the-edges Lucas Jones. She clocked the chemistry between them instantly, but when she brought it up, Lucas denied everything while simultaneously delivering an unprompted highlight reel of everything wonderful about Joe — the world’s least convincing denial. Molly watched the two of them from a distance, quietly delighted with herself for calling it.

Her mood shifted considerably when the healthy dose of Elizabeth walked in to bring Dante to a yoga class. Molly’s radar went off again, except this time there was no delight involved, seeing as Elizabeth happens to be dating Molly’s father. One soap-worthy realization per gym visit is apparently the daily limit.
