The Short Answer Fans Keep Googling
Will Sheila find out about Steffy and Carter? Not yet, and nothing official says she will this week or next. Sheila Carter has not shared a single scene with Steffy Forrester Finnegan or Carter Walton since the Monaco beach showdown of August 12 and 13. She has no idea Steffy is pregnant, let alone that Carter fathered the baby. Every “Sheila blackmails Steffy” headline floating around right now is a prediction, not a spoiler.
Here is what is actually on the record. Steffy and Carter had one drunken night in the Forrester CEO office on August 17, back when Steffy had just torn off her rings because John “Finn” Finnegan defended his mother in Monaco. Steffy took a pregnancy test on September 10, told Carter on September 11, and told him on September 14 that he is the father. Only those two know. Finn thinks the marriage is healed, and Daphne Rose Walton thinks her best friend is about to carry her miracle baby as a donor and surrogate.
That surrogacy story is Carter’s invention, and it is already cracking. Steffy went along with it in front of Daphne on September 21, pitched it to Finn on September 22, and watched Finn shoot it down flat on September 23 before he left town. Carter spent that same episode pouring a flask into his coffee. The daily Bold and the Beautiful coverage lays out that whole week.

What Sheila Actually Knows Right Now
Sheila’s fall story runs through Deacon Sharpe, not Steffy. She signed the divorce papers on July 9 without winning a minute with Finn or Hayes Finnegan, then stowed away on Finn’s Monaco flight and blew up his marriage for a week. Finn cut her off cold after that. By August 31 he was telling Li that Sheila will never be part of their lives.
So Sheila Carter did what Sheila always does and found a softer target. On September 21 she planted herself at Bikini Bar, told Deacon she is obsessed with being shut out of Finn and Hayes’ lives, and needled him about Taylor Hayes turning down his proposal back on August 12. By September 23 Deacon was defending her to Taylor, who did not like it one bit. That same day Taylor sensed that Steffy’s trouble is “taking up more space inside of her” than any Sheila trauma. Mom is circling the truth, and Grandma is three doors down from it, as we noted when Finn torched Carter’s surrogacy plan.
Will Sheila find out about Steffy and Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful?
No spoiler through the week of September 28 puts Sheila anywhere near the secret. The circulating previews keep her prodding Deacon about Taylor’s disrespect while Finn seethes over the surrogacy from the road. Here is the detail nobody else has connected. On September 22, Sheila told Deacon she does not want anything to come between Finn and his wife. Days earlier, in fall preview interviews, head writer Bradley Bell said Sheila still wants two things: Deacon, and acceptance from Steffy so she can be a grandmother to Hayes.
Put those side by side and the blackmail prediction makes sense without being confirmed. A woman who wants Steffy’s acceptance and Hayes in her arms does not need to threaten anybody if she can trade silence for an invitation. Bell also said the secret could last “days to months to years.” That is a writer telling you the fuse is long. Sheila Carter is the obvious match, but the show has not struck it.
Three Ways This Secret Could Break
Reading between the lines, three outcomes are on the table. First, the fan favorite: Sheila pieces it together and offers Steffy a deal, keep me away from Hayes and Finn learns everything. Second, the twist: Sheila keeps the promise she made Deacon and takes the truth straight to Finn, because in her mind protecting her son beats punishing his wife. Third, and my gut leans here, Steffy confesses first. She has tried four times already and somebody cut her off every time.
Do not sleep on Taylor either. She has been reading her daughter’s face for a month, and that September 23 line was not filler. If I know these writers, the person who finds out first will be the one who can do the most damage with it, and that is not always the villain.
